Out of Sync (2000)
Kari Wuhrer is great at acting horrible
I didn't know what to expect from a VH1 "Movie That Rocks", but considering I had a headache when I saw it I thought it was pretty good. Gail O'Grady has a perfect look of vengeance when she finds out her voice was being used, not to mention the stunning vocals. Kari Wuhrer is great at acting horrible. The tracks from the movie weren't too bad either. All in all, I enjoyed it a lot and will try to catch it again the next time it airs.
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993)
Best series. Ever. Period.
I watched ST:DS9 every weekday at 11PM on FOX, and I loved every episode. I still can't believe they're going to stop playing it. The last episode they played (this passing Friday) was Season 2, "Crossover", and it was great -- I still haven't seen a lot of them, and seen a lot of them replayed on FOX, but apparently not this season (?). It still plays on Sat/Sun but it's nearing to the last episode of Season 7 and that may be it. And guess what's replacing it? Voyager.
I'm not exactly sure why I like it so much. I suppose it's the individual personalities of each crew member. Maybe the ingenious plot and adventures behind each episode. Perhaps the political factor. Whatever it is, it makes me upset that it only lasts one hour.
I'm disappointed by the series now ending -- it was the main reason that I still watch TV, and the only TV show that I find thoroughly enjoyable and wanting nothing but more. Too bad. :-(
