What the heck happened? Loved the first series. It was so darned good. Loved the characters & storylines but apparently being sold overseas means that what ain't broke they fixed it & not so well! It was an 8/10

Now: Over dramatic. Over the top medical procedures. It just does not feel like the same show even with the same characters.

It appears that with eyes now on this show overseas they've created a new show. Sadly it's disappointing and rather corny.

Please bring back the original show!

It's a great showcase for Australia but I'm just not so excited to watch it now.

After seeing this show wondered why we don't have more types of TV like this made in Australia.

I so love the production on this new Aussie show, which is made in Ballarat and set in the early 50s.

A worthy partner of Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries, another fabulous, beautiful looking period piece.

I really really liked this show. I was worried thinking of my memories of Craig McLachlan singing Mona in the 80s with a mullet and all those terrible shows he was in like Neighbours etc but he does a great job as Dr Blake and I really love his house set up and rather eccentric personality!

Can't wait for the next episode.

Our own world is as we see it. Your world is different to mine. Therefore a movie that I felt uplifted and felt 'yeah this rocks' to most people who have commented here, was a totally different experience. Why? Because the world is relative. Is there right or wrong? To some yes and to others no? I took this movie not on its accurateness because so many great things that are ridiculed are then taken as fact at a later date. It felt right.

Quantum physics is not mainstream. Yes its been around for 50+ years but I'm sorry to the average joe on the street this stuff is woo woo not accepted science, albeit that it is. It is almost fact as we know that when you go to the nth degree of matter it is just what? Light? Energy? Its certainly not what we think is physical = hard unimpressionable stuff. Reading the Holographic Universe for us unscientific plebs was an enlightening experience.

Who cares about all the scientists, what did the experience feel like? I don't need proof. To see people questioning what is and what is right now if you care to look at the telly is a disasater! Why not question what we've been doing for some millenia, our newtonian physics no longer hold weight. Why do we have to prove anything? How does it feel?

I could see 'poetic license' with this movie, you know the ships and indians thing, yeah probably untrue but its trying to point to the issue. I'm sure everyone has gone to the cupboard to look for the salt and can't see it, no matter what, it happens to me a lot and then my partner finds it right in front of my nose. If you don't believe it will be there it wont. Who cares about that, its the whole intention of the movie, what was it saying? Who's clever, right or wrong, is not the issue! Stand back and look at the great message, getting reality out there to the masses.

Look I read Seth Speaks in the 70s, OK another channeled 'entity', I don't care who or what he was, it was the message. So ultimately what Seth was saying back then 30 years ago was what quantum physics is saying today.

What's the problem with seeing yourself as God, if God is everything anyway. Do I care if you can't prove it, no? You can rationalise and pick apart this movie till the cows come home but it was a brilliant movie making experience in itself, forget the theme. The look of it, the music, the whole concept was brilliant. Look at the message not the messenger.

I can stand back and be critical but why? There's enough of that in the world and it doesn't DO anything except make something positive negative.

I remember the time of being aware that your thoughts cause your reality and how much responsibility that incurred. No it doesn't mean that you deliberately cause yourself to have cancer or accidents or anything like that. It means to me we are greater than we will ever know in our physical bodies because we are little bits of the Universe who got bored with being One and then decided this game of life was great because you forget who you are and then you spend all your time trying to remember.

I'd never heard of this movie, it just appeared on Foxtel and being a lover of the vampire genre waited for another shlocky vampire movie with special effects, totally unappealing vampires and corny acting. I was totally surprised. I loved it. OK it wasn't the best acting I've seen especially by Adrian Paul but then he was playing a Polish Jew in a rather wooden performance ~ I mean aren't all vampires sexy? Anyway I loved the location (Budapest, Hungary) and the eerie feel to the movie. I loved the story line of a human and vampire cop seeking out a vampire criminal, reminds me of Forever Knight. I thought Bai Ling played a beautiful vampire, she had it down pat, not to mention her beautiful black panther. Loved the scene in the Pravda disco, would have liked more of that. Sexy vampires with fangs not turning into monsters is very appealing. I would like to see more of these characters. The black cop was cool too, loved his turn to the vampire side of life. Cool movie 8/10

Surprised by the voting on this movie, what's wrong with it? I'm not a J Lo fan much, but her part in this movie made me smile. I like her acting, she convinced me in this especially some of the touching scenes with Ralph Fiennes. Lovely message in the movie from brilliant Bob Hoskins (in a small role). The dog and Stanley Tucci make a great couple. The kid is a great actor, very convincing. Simple warm fun love story where everyone gets what they deserve! 9/10

OK so I'm sappy, I loved this movie, as angst ridden as it was. My coming out wasn't nearly as bad, but I'm sure others have it even worse. I loved the acting, the cute music, the gorgeous school teacher and Stockard Channing's acting. Every time I watch this movie I enjoy it more, Ellen Muth is also a great little actress. And at least she didn't go back to a man like most lesbian movies made for mainstream do. Be out and proud of who you are!

I think I missed something. I credit myself as having brains. What was the point of the movie? If it was to show us what brilliant little actors the kids were, yes I understand that. Mel gets totally overshone in this movie, he doesn't shine at all (never does these days, give me him in Gallipoli). And yes there was a scary build up, the green men being seen bit by bit, but PLEASE!!! beating one to death at the end of the movie? C'mon, there had to be more but I must be missing something. If its to do with faith then it was a lame result. I just expected so much more, something with oomph to take your breath away, but to have Mel say "Swing away" and then the alien be beaten by a baseball bat and glasses of water, very poor ending. Its like he had a great story, the build up, end of the world stuff and then he lost it. All the flashbacks to his wife. No I'm sorry this was a very overrated and disappointing movie. The kids (and Joaquin) were the stars, oh yeah and the dogs! C'mon director, we expect better from you!

Whilst the movie itself is of its time, the late 1940s, I found the whole theme behind the movie brilliant. The idea of sticking to your guns, your beliefs and ideals. The acting was atrocious, made up by the gorgeous looking pair of Cooper & Neal and the very pleasing character Raymond Massey played. I think Ayn Rand was onto something and the message spoke loud and clear : live true to your beliefs and your life will flow, ultimately!

A wonderfully surprising gem of a movie. Bruce Willis in a very different role, I enjoy his acting anyway but this was superb. For a "horror" movie, very little special effects, gore or violence, but then it didn't need those as it held its own with the acting of all the cast (especially Cole). The twist at the end makes the movie. A must see.

Four great stars, Branagh being in the cast I naively assumed would assure a great movie and a fun storyline, but sadly it was very flaccid, the only fun parts being in the trailer! I loved Sonnefeld's previous romp MIB, but he lost the plot here. I thought when it finished ~ what was I missing?
