I had been waiting forever for this movie to be released because it was José José's last appearance in a film. I knew he would play a villain which he had never done before. I truly enjoyed his few minutes in the film but, aside of that, do not waste your time watching this unless you are a truly fan of José José like I will always be. It's obvious he only agreed to be in it for financial reasons.

By the way; the movie is one hour and thirty-six minutes long, not two hours and twenty minutes as listed here. Looks like there was a major editing job during the fourteen years this movie remained unreleased.

Additionally, the plot summary listed here is wrong. It's about a "secret agency" with corrupt personnel and their attempts to get rid of an agent who may unmask the corruption.

So, the message here is that decent, good people should not have guns on their homes to protect themselves. If an armed bag guys breaks into their home they should allow such bad guy to shoot them.

Why was this movie overlooked during Oscar time beats me....The story, the acting, everything about this movie is excellent. I seriously hope that this movie gets more attention because it truly deserves it. I actually forgot that I was watching a movie and honestly believed that the actresses were actually suffering from breast cancer. That is how pure and realistic their portrayal of cancer victims was. Did I cry? Of course I did! I cried with them,laughed with them and learned a lot, a lot from them and with them. Please, if you know anyone who has ever suffered from cancer you must watch this movie. Even if you don't know anyone you will not regret the incredible experience of watching this masterpiece.

This movie went far beyond my expectations! I had read some reviews which stated that this was the greatest sports movie ever. This movie goes way beyond being a sports movie. This movie is about a generation that, unfortunately, saw and experienced a lot of things that went wrong in our country back then such as Watergate and the Iranian takeover of the American Embassy. This movie reminds us that, along with all the negative events that occurred, something very magical also took place.

You don't have to be a hockey fan to like this movie. I'm not one and it did not matter at all. The game represented a lot more that just a hockey match.

I took my 14 year old son and my five year old daughter to the premiere of this movie. It was as good as promised if not better! You will actually believe that you are inside Disney's fabled haunted mansion. Eddie Murphy has not been this good in a long time! And the rest of the cast, especially Terence Stamp, is awesome. Excellent movie for the entire family!

Initially, I wondered why Tom Wilkinson (whom I was not familiar with)got one of the starring roles in this movie opposite of Jessica Lange. Everyone knows super talented and beautiful Jessica but Tom Wilkinson? As I watched the movie it all made sense to me. Someone like Richard Gere or Harrison Ford would have constantly reminded us that we were watching a movie. Tom Wilkinson made us feel that we were watching a true story, with real life characters,develop in front of our eyes.

This has been the worst movie that I have seen in quite a while! The acting was horrible, so was the editing, the script and everything else about this movie. It was as if whoever filmed this movie walked into a taqueria with a home video recorder and told the employees to"pretend" that they were in a movie.Watch "Doce Horas" if you truly want to want to watch a funny movie with great actors!

A few minutes after I started watching this movie I completely forgot that it was just a movie with actors just portraying their respective characters. I truly felt that I was watching "real people" as they went about their respective twelve hours in this movie. I wonder why this movie was not nominated for any Oscars!

I have,unfortunately, lived away from my Puerto Rico since 1978 but watching this movie I felt that I was back, watching this story develop right in front of my eyes.

Although most of the actors, with the exception of Marcos Betancourt, were unfamiliar to me I was absolutely impressed with their performance. Hopefully, I will see all of them in future movies!

The ending of this movie reminded me of The Sixth Sense and The Others; totally unexpected. For a while I thought that had figured out what was going to happen at the end, but, believe me, I was caught entirely by surprise. Very few movies are still able to do that to me so, I have to applaud this movie for that. And, the casting was just fine regardless of what you might have heard.

Comedy laced with profanity was funny during the seventies when Richard Pryor was at his peak. Comedy laced with drugs was funny during the late seventies when Cheech & Chong were at their best. But, Jay and silent Bob are not funny at all and will never be unless and, maybe, they can come up with their own original style. I found them both slightly amusing during Dogma but this movie is just terrible!

The "break up to make up routine" got old real quick. In addition, after a while I was unable to physically distinguish the main characters from each other. I'm sorry to say but, Cantonese is not the most pleasant language to listen to.
