BETTER THAN ORIGINAL 1948 SERIAL
6 August 2000
I know that this movie/serial is better than the first. First of all, some of the flying sequences are more realistic and actually involve Kirk Alyn. Unlike the Captain Marvel serial where a dummy is used in flying sequences. Out of 10 stars, I give this movie 11. :)

NOT AS BAD AS IT SEEMS
5 August 2000
I do believe that the sequel Batman serial is very dated for the 40s and that time period, but it is a very nice representation of how the times were then. The only thing I don't like is there is no batmobile or any of the fancy cars as in the current 90's films. The costumes are very good and represent how earlier forms of Batman and Robin really were. They were not always the plastic wearing gurus of today's movies and it was more practical for the hero to get hurt or killed, thus the chapters every week and cliffhanger endings. Overall, I give Batman and Robin 1949 a rating of 7 out of 10.

Superman (1978)
THE 2nd BEST SUPERMAN MOVIE OF ALL TIME
2 August 2000
I love this movie. As a fan of Superman for a VERY LONG time, I naturally love anything that is related to Superman. The movie gives the best description and layout of what Krypton really was. This is the way that Siegel and Shuster wanted Krypton to be. The characters are great and will never die and the story is not to be set for the 70s only but for all of the times. I highly recommend this movie.
