The Music makes this one.

I haven't seen this movie in many years but I still remember the Brahms Symphony No. 1. It was the first time I ever heard it and it made a significant impression.

If for no other reason, the movie is a "should" see for the music.

Besides, it's good to see Moses conduct!

The scenes of Harvard Square of the late 1940s are great!

In addition to the excellent calibre of the movie itself, I really enjoyed seeing a part of Cambridge that I can recall from my childhood. Harvard Square has changed dramatically since this movie was made. Going down memory lane can be very pleasant!
