Moulin Rouge! (2001)
You really can fall in love with a movie
Yes. I, too, really fell in love with this movie. It's propably the most beautiful movie I have ever seen, audiovisually and by the cliché storyline. Everything is beautiful and melancholy. The music ain't very good in itself, but the main actors make it sound beautiful. You have to dig your fingernails into your palms to stop yourself from sobbing, when Christian sings "why does my heart cry"...
*sigh*... Moulin Rouge! is a beautiful faerytale, which makes you feel unreal. I'd hope it'd stay in the movie theatres for ever and ever, and see it again and again.
The Crow: Stairway to Heaven (1998)
Absolutely horrible!
Just when you think that the sequels would be horrible enough... absolutely horrible! This must be even more horrible than Renegade, Tarzan and all the others. A masterpiece turned into a lousy Turtles-like series, with no atmosphere, with a terrible storyline and with ugly makeup.
I haven't got enough words to describe how I hate this series. Even the music makes me vomit. I just hope that Finland's tv stations wouldn't have transmitted it. It's going on right now.
The Beast Within: A Gabriel Knight Mystery (1995)
More like a book...
I cannot say anything else of this FMV-IF-game that it is magnificient. Great cast, great plot, great music, amazing atmosphere. After the stiffness of the early game Dean fits in the role of Gabe like a fist in the crack. The feelings when played through were more like having read through a magnificient book series than having played through a game.
