Pirates: 3D Show (1999)
Best 3-D Show at Theme Parks
I've now seen this film over 6 times, and I can't get enough of it! I wonder if they're will ever be a sequel to this great 3-D film that shows at our Six Flags Worlds of Adventure in Aurora, OH (Cleveland area)
Starhunter (2000)
Refreshing change to recent SciFi drama, great underlying purpose
Between Dante's bounty-hunter assignments, his teenage niece Percy's need for a 'real' lifestyle, and his 2nd in command Claudette's underlying motives and secrets, our hero manages to continue to 1st priority, to find his son who was kidnapped by the 'raiders' 10 years ago, who also killed Percy's family. Claudette's father is thought to have ties to the secrets of the 'raiders' and she is a huge asset to Dante'e pursuit of his missing son.
With a 200 year old CGI ship interface, who apparantly knows everything, Dante's crew hopes someday to help rid some of the universe of evildoers and reunite him with his son, and Percy can lead a normal life she should be doing in her teens.
Birds of Prey (2002)
Great New Show
***SPOILERS*** ***SPOILERS*** After a good, but not spectacular premiere, the 2nd episode is much better written and produced. Awaiting more of the same of the caliber of episode 2. Show is not very intentfull, and not confusing to understand. Before the shows premiere, the premise is that the Joker put a hit on both Catwoman, who had a child by Bruce Wayne which he knew nothing about, and also a hit on Barbara Gordon/Batgirl when he learns her true identity. After Catwoman, in her everyday guise with her daughter Helena, is killed in broad daylight by the Joker, he shoots and paralyzes Barbara Gordon in her apartment. Batman, after learning of his loves death, eventually leaves Gotham because of emotional distress after the death of his love, and Batgirl reinvents herself as Oracle to continue his legacy in his absence. She becomes the legal guardian of Helena, who has genetic abilities like her mother did , and they are later joined by a new teenage arrival who ran away from her foster family, after they tried to further surpress her 'meta-human' abilities, which Helena also possesses. The 3-some continue the crimefighting legacy that Batman began, in the hopes also that one day Helena will forgive her father/Batman for leaving the town and the daughter he never knew he had. Helena's anger towards her father is further hampered by her psychiatrist, Dr. Harleen Quinzil/ aka Harley Quinn, former assistant/love interest of the now-imprisoned Joker.
Car 54, Where Are You? (1994)
Worst 'remake' of all time (so far)
With all the talent they found for secondary roles, they managed to make the absolute worst film of all time. The attempts to be funny come out as lame and oborious. A perfect showing of when you try to hard to be funny, you always fail. To use the name 'Car 54, Where Are You' in the title should have been given to a REAL movie, not the junk this film was. Only thing good about the film is, if you have to fall asleep quickly, rent it. Then you'll doze off naturally and quickly.
