Battle of Los Angeles (2011 Video)
This movie is almost as bad as Highlander The Source
2 November 2011
I said almost as bad as Highlander The Source nothing could be as bad as that POS this is a POS in itself but at least it has humor from the start to the finish it has to be one of the best comedies I have seen in a long time. Highlander: The Source (2007 TV Movie)

Highlander II should have won an Oscar...
17 December 2010
Warning: Spoilers
Comparing this movie to Highlander II, Highlander II should have won an Oscar it is that much better than this movie. At least H2 was watch worthy and had some humor. In my life I have only seen a few totally unwatchable movies; this movie ranks a tie for 1st with Alien V Hunter. The only difference was I watched this entire movie hoping to find something good in it. There have been many comments about this movie and I was half surprised when some commented about how much they liked it. Hey so some people have no taste. The one comment I did think was absolutely ridiculous was the one about the movie was anti- religion because it portrayed the cardinals of the Catholic church in a bad light as being corrupt or something like that. My opinion is that the church and cardinals don't need any help harming their image because all by their selves they have been involved in murder and theft for centuries. ..And for the cardinals acting like Judas, No They Weren't; Judas was doing the job he was supposed to do as instructed. The church through the centuries have been doing bad all by themselves. BTW the reason I have commented on the church was I didn't bring it up first but I believed I should rebut the comments made. As far as spoiler this movie was a spoiler, it spoiled my entire evening.

Character building for SGU
2 April 2010
The first thing you have to do in any good series is to build a character base. Once you know who is who you then can go from there. The first season has built our little cast of characters. Now we can introduce them to aliens, big problems, and other life threatening situations. If they don't THEN they are in trouble! They have some good characters to build on and the beginnings of some good story lines to draw from. I personally would like to see them use some of our old tried and true characters from the other series introduced via the "communication" stones. Lastly it's entertainment that's all it is and it is 10 times 100% better than wrassling, ghost busting, or Japanese cartoons.

Soul Train (1971–2006)
Worked on Soul Train in the 80's
3 August 2008
In the 80's I worked on Soul Train, Dance Fever, Solid Gold and American Bandstand. Soul Train was my favorite. I experienced a variety people and music for the six years I was there. You wouldn't believe what people would do and say to try and get into the building. Everything from Don's my uncle he must have forgot I was coming today...to the personal favors offered if we would let them in.

Don Cornelius was someone to look up to, I think he is a Vulcan, his emotions were always in check and I admired that.

The dancers in the 80's were good and a lot of them were professional people. I don't mean professional dancers; they had jobs in the varied professions like a producer, administrative assistant, actor, singer and more. Most of the dancers back then were friends and they did the show because they enjoyed it for the show and the people and of course the exposure.

The music was better in the 80's and it varied and it definitely was a lot more entertaining.

So I say no one can replace Don and they should let the Train die an honorable death or bring it back like it was in the 70's and 80's
