Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe (2022)
It had me laughing, one cringe part though
Was crude like the original, the beginning was tge best got a little repetitve towards the end, the animation was off, the b&b from around 2011 looked better and more faithful to the original series. The one part i hates was that it ended up getting political, even though it was poking fun at it, it was a little cringe, the whole white privilege scene was a little funny when beavis and butt head take it to heart and start being horrible to people on purpose.(but the whole liberals explaining it was cringe this whole segment was preachy- i wish they would have kept them in the 1990s so i dont have to see modern liberals(not funny). But film was overall funny

, the science fair in the beginning was perfect and the ensueing chaos, the smartest beavis and butt head of the multiverse were great. The siri parts were ok, the prison scene was funny but comes off as filler to bring back fan-favorite cornholio. The space camp and mission to the space station was great and the usual b&b trying to score with the female asronaut was great- them sorta scoring is funny) 7-10, needs less politics, more secondary characters from the old show. Modern setting kinda holds the show back i think.
Harley Quinn (2019)
Its pretty good but too woke!
The characters are well written, the voice acting is great, My favorite characters are Dr. psycho, clayface, Joker and Bane. I like that they used Kite man who is never used. The jokes and violence are great, and the fact that they let Harley have her own show, the supporting characters work well with her, Clayface as an actor who thinks he is much better than he is, is a great addition and is funny. Dr Psycho was always a good villain and i like that they characterize him the was he was created as a woman hating villain, I do like this and the sex jokes he makes. Bane is great as well because of the tom hardy impression and that he is kinda just there. Bane's motive also make no sense,Example :him blowing up a guy at a smoothie stand for mispelling his name. I enjoy the female lead charaters as well, harley being the free spirit with Ivy as the straight man works great. BUT the issues i have are the woke stuff laced in abruptly, the mr freeze episode was good, i like the fact that he proected her from being killed by the other villains, with kills the old comic book sterotype(women in refidgerators syndrome as they call it) But it could have been done with out the super woke misogynistic rant from freeze other than that is was well written. From this episode on the wokeness increased but its still enjoyable. I see this show as a cross between Venture Bros., Futurama and a pinch of Deadpool. Its very different and is worth a binge watch, i would have given it a 10/10 if it wasnt trying to shove a woke message down ur through, even though not as bad as most Contempary Media. I love the Batman TAS easter eggs and there was also a Married with Children Easter egg as well all great shout outs. The acting is great feels like the perfect cast to pull this off doesnt sound like a cartoon.
Married with Children: The Gypsy Cried (1989)
A decent but important episode.
Funny episode, kinda the turning point for the series. I believe marcy's curse was the failing of her marriage rather her hitting her boss. Steve also shows less love for her starting with this episode foreshadowing his exit. Some of the jokes are good as normal Katey was particularly good in this episode due to the wallet scene and the great chemistry between Ed O'Neill and her during the plane scene is fantastic. The banter between the gypsy And Al is fantastic. Gypsy:i see feet(looking at tarot cards) Al: u can see that, gypsy: no i smell ur feet Al: well i smell cheap scotch on ur breath. Very funny.
Married with Children: The Stepford Peg (1997)
Probably one of the finest episodes of the series.
This episode is one of the funniest of the show. Katey Sagal is the best in this episode showing more character range with Peg Bundy showing that deep down she could actually be loving and domesticated. The jokes in this episode are raunchy as usually but very unexpected. What i mean here is the delivery catches you off guard. I started rewatching the series after a few years and this show has help up well and is still hilarious, and season 11 mainly this episode and live nude peg hold up there with the first 5 seasons.
