The Perfect Dark Comedy Biography of Rich Man
26 March 2024
It's nice movie, a story of Jordan Belfort. For the first half of the movie I was wondering what's so special about this, it's just rich people enjoying their luxury life, except Leonardo and the other cast's amazing performance 🤔. And that's where the first problem Jordan starts facing, and then I got to understand the actual problem 😂. It takes time to set up his life, how he build his fortune but after that it's a story of how a rich starts to fall.

The best part of movie is the conversation 🤣, Martin Scorsese is know for this type of take where characters are having conversation and it keeps going for long time, with double-triple layers of meaning 😂. I especially liked that scene when Jordan has to get back home.

It's the last scene which makes the whole movie the best, which indirectly tells us that many of us don't know how to sell a pen. Overall it is definitely worth watching.

You will be thrilled and horrified
26 March 2024
I was looking for something in horror-thriller type of movie for the weekend, and picking the right movie in this genre is a bit tricky. If you pick the right movie then it makes your whole night 👌 I had watched Mike Flanagan's 2 horror series, Hill House and Bly Manor, both are amazing.

I'll not spoil for you and will recommend not to watch any trailer also!

Oculus also has a similar template but it's the twist in his work which makes everything interesting 😌. And damn, he never pulls back from brutal endings. You're expecting something good will happen but it just ends with a terrifying feeling where the protagonist never wins and this is why Mike Flanagan's work stands out, something thrilling 😏

I'll definitely suggest if you're looking for horror-thriller movies or series then do watch all of his works.

It's a beautifully sober movie
26 March 2024
It's a beautiful movie, showing how a couple tries to survive the harsh reality of life 👏.

The drama is core, the conversations between kids and couple, all the house problems. I loved the way world around characters is shown, how they try to make things better, being serious and solving the life problems. In short it's simply a part of a couple's rough time and trying to catch up with world👌. When the older kid slaps in climax, wow, that part hit me 😌. It's just a pure drama and that's the beauty of this movie.

My first reason to watch this was Pablo Schreiber, as I'm following the Halo TV series and other was to watch a female directed movies because they are different 😮.

I'll recommend this if you're looking for some serious drama stories, or looking for something unique.

An Advanced Sci-fi Drama in Generalized Perspective
26 March 2024
A very interesting sci-fi series, adaptation of Liu Cixin's novel (I was shocked to found that Wandering Earth is also based on his work).

In brief, this is about the human's race to save their future from an alien species which wants to make earth as their new home.

I liked the mystery of first 5 episodes, the way it was build. And then the actual drama begins, which focuses more on character's life and their conversation on loosing friends, messed up relationships 😟. It's all build up for final episode and it pays off!

Everything aside, it was the WOW-signal which clicked me 😂, direct reference of real life incident. You know if you know, old Nat-Geo Discovery nerds 😉.

Though the series is great but I would prefer to read the book, because the scale of the story was feeling larger but from the series pov it was not that big.

This is a beautiful J-remake
26 March 2024
What a simple, but a beautiful love story! How love story can be different even when it's simple, only to found that it was remake of Korean movie Always (2011), also there's Hindi remake 'Do Lafzon ki Kahani' with Randeep Hooda and Kajal Aggarwal 👌.

The other best part of this movie is the ending title song by BTS... That's why I was not able to skip credit rolls.

Can't believe it was coincidence 😮, I chose this movie for a weekend chill-out, interested by its English title. After watching, I looked into the director's other works and wow, I had seen his 'My Tomorrow, Your Yesterday' before, and that movie hit me emotionally due to its time theme 🤧. Takahiro Miki, really adapts amazing love story movies.

Dearest (2021)

One of my Dearest series
26 March 2024
It's a murder mystery thriller with a perfect mixture of romance drama 👌. I was deep into the story, it hooked me from 1st ep and perfect connection of the 1st scene with final episode 😅, I liked that which had different perspective.

Everything is in front but still it's perfectly hidden that you can't see the connection until the very last episode, even when it tries to mislead with narration 😏.

I liked this structure of this series, where a simple part of mystery is solved till half episodes, by also telling more about the character's daily life and some past. Later that, is actual thriller where the complex part gets more complex with lots of twists 😨.

And the ending, the climax of last episode is damn emotional just because a good character sacrifices everything for everyone 🤧 by breaking the trust build through all the episodes 😭.

There's a romantic side story, definitely in the middle it gets confusing. But it's perfect, it lovingly brings two characters closer with each episode, with their own hiccups of story. And the way it connects everything together in the end feels dahym heavy 😭.

I'll definitely recommend it if you're looking for some interesting mystery thriller 🔪 with lots of drama. Also, if you'd watch Guilty (kdrama) then probably 👀 it will give the wrong vibes because it's confusing till all perspectives get cleared.

Something Fresh to Watch in TF-Universe
9 August 2023
Ohkaeyyy .... Finally watched Rise of the Beats 😌 and I'll say it refreshes our beloved Transformers memories, especially Bay-verse action levels, not that high but it suits perfectly 👌. Also, the cinematography of this movie was really cool.

The best parts of this movie are Mirage-Noah chemistry and the Climax battle, that climax really reminds us about epic TF battles. And and, Bee's badass entry... No matter what Bee is still everyone's hero 😅. Also, the cinematography in Machu-Picchu Place goes to the next level, looking at robots in the beauty of nature is so cool and relaxing. I love it.

Those spider-bot scenes at rainy night and the underground place were actually horrorful 😳, I actually got scared at that scene. Also, that Airazor last scene in mountain 😥. This tells me that there's the possibility of exploring the TF universe through different genres, also. Just imagine a horror movie with robots 😱.

Thank god, this movie is really good 😌, I mean there are some issues like why put so many things in this one movie, the story moves so fast that it's sometimes hard to catch up with what exactly happened and honestly saying this is not our Optimus Prime 😨. This personality change with Optimum was a serious issue I guess, I mean he is calm, thinks before taking any action and he is wise because he is Prime, that's the reason why he became prime. And this is not about the rise of beasts, beasts barely have lead roles in this. And one last thing, why badass Scourge became so weak in the end if you look at the Scourge's introduction and first fight scene on earth, that's actually badass but don't know why it was tone down in the climax.

Well, these issues can be ignored if you look at cinematography and action choreography 👌. And this movie focuses deeply on building emotions, unlike Bay-verse tf movies. If you'll remember one thing from this movie, then it will be Mirage and Noah's chemistry, this has really good robot-human chemistry, after the Bumblebee (2019) movie.

If you are a Transformers fan, then this should be on your must-watch watchlist 👍 and I think, this movie is made for only those who know some story of transformers because it directly gets on the topic, which is good 👌.

Reacher (2022– )

A Nice Engaging Crime Drama with Reacher
9 August 2023
I think I kind of like watching small-town drama/mystery stories, where a guy solves the problem and it makes you feel like you were with them (all main characters) 😌. The best part of these types of drama series is, how the protagonist's team solves the mystery/crime case throughout the episodes 👌. I picked this series because I liked Tom Cruise's Jack Reacher movies and this series is a nice adaptation that explores Jack Reacher's character. I first saw Alan Ritchson in Fast X and it kind of had a unique body 🤔 Jack Reacher is more like the agile character if you watch Tom Cruise's Jack Reacher movies but then actions in the series shows his physical strength, obviously he's a soldier so his actions are more like structured and I like that. Also his bitter-sweet chemistry with Chief Detective 😅, starts unfriendly, and as they solve the case they become buddies.

If you like crime drama-type stories then this is something you can check, it doesn't have that complicated case other than unexpected twists and turns but it keeps it fun and engaging, as is Reacher's personality.

Had the potential but Missed It
9 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
It started with a bang 😲 but ended up with boring boo 😒. It was on topic till ep 3 (can include 4) but after that literally, it got off the topic. I was expecting more from this, obviously because I like this type of stories, especially when political powers are involved and drama between agents is really interesting to see and this series follows that till ep 4, that's it. Where is the real impact of invasion which was built in the last 3 eps 👀? The same goes for our fav. Nick Fury, was badass till he got suit-up. BUT, a huge but, Sonia's character stands out from all this. She is the badass character introduced in the MCU, that headshot, and her direct-straight decisions make her unique. I loved her boldness, I wish our Fury could have maintained that boldness after that hospital scene 😥. AND, what the hell type of role our queen got she was supposed to be something really very important because everyone hailed her in the GOAT series GOT 🤷‍♂️ but in this MCU she didn't get that impactful, hope she'll play an important role in near future.

Another good thing from the series is the last speech, after that, the level massacre started in the whole world is crazy. This got serious, so I just hope it will have importantance in the expected movie/series Armour Wars, aka around one of my fav characters, Rhodes (war machine). I bet he will be totally traumatized (spoiler), waking up after a very long time 😭... I'm just what will happen if gets to know about this world 🤔.

Overall, this series had huge potential but it missed that bullseye as it got closer to the end 🙄. You can feel the seriousness in Fury when he was in the hospital, that look and attitude was literally what everyone was expecting, that old-time Fury 😌.

So, it's up to you if you follow the MCU till the endgame then you can watch this, otherwise if it had a better ending I would have suggested it to everyone 😞.

A Beautiful Movie on Soldier's Life in Battlefield
9 August 2023
Looks like I watched a beautiful World War-based movie after a long time, yea, I recently watched Pearl Harbor but that was more of a chaotic type. But Sam Mendes's 1917 is one of those beautiful war movies which tells you the emotional side of war 😥. I intentionally chose these movies because I was looking for the best cinematography movies and the poster of this movie is great in itself.

The story is abstractly simple, 2 soldiers are tasked to send a message to the captain on the frontline to stop the attack, but what makes this interesting is the way they shot the whole movie 😵. It's more of a single-take movie to give you the realistic experience of war, It starts from one afternoon and ends on the next day's afternoon, just imagine it, you are with a soldier throughout all the events 👌.

And my favorite scene is that early morning scene in the middle of the movie, a little pause from all the chaos and focus toward a baby, that is the only scene where it gives a happy-sad type feeling 😖. And next to that early morning scene with dark blue sky and bright fires, cinematography at its peak 😲. Also, just before that baby scene, there's a completely dark sequence and the only light in the scene we see is of blasts or fireworks, I mean never seen something that beautiful lighting 👀, that was like the best lighting I ever seen. And you know what cinematographer is none other than Roger Deakins, the guy who worked on Denis Villeneuve's Prisoners and Blade Runner 2049.

Also, the climax scene kind of reminds me of Nolan's Dunkirk (maybe because of ground blasts) as the character runs 300 yards in different directions, which means 90 degrees from the army's direction, that scene 👌... That's where you will see the completion of the character's arc from avoiding not going in front of a guy with a determined mindset to reach his goal and then ending with a perfectly closing frame as the movie started. 👀 perfect full circle 👏.

I loved it, this is one of the best cinematographical movies and highly recommended if you are looking for a visually beautiful war-based movie.

Wildly Brut & Ruth
9 August 2023
Basically, this movie shows the events of an American frontiersman's terrible life. It reminded me about how humans are the most dangerous species on the planet 😨. That bear attack scene was horrifying, it felt so real that you can feel the pain. That was literally horrific 😵. This story tells how a man almost dead, rises and overcomes the fear of death. And, hats off to Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy's acting 👌. I especially liked Tom Hardy's character, the way he talks is really unique. But Leonardo's character is inspiring, you can feel him, the pain he goes through, throughout all the events, that's incredible.

And the best part of this movie, other than these 2 characters is the cinematography. That raiders attack in the forest in the opening is so perfectly shot 👌 amazing. It tricks to make it feel like a single take but with that the chaos build is really something to appreciate. And the whole movie is cinematically beautiful, you will love every scene. I got the exact same vibe as the film 'Prey' (2022), maybe because of the same culture or setting, but it's beautiful.

The movie is long, if you try to summarise in the end you will remember how Hugh rise from the dead to the point where death meant nothing to him. I'll suggest this if you like watching survival-type stories 😲 (not veggies but I watched this)

The Terminal List (2022– )

A Nice Engaging Thriller with Really Good Twists
9 August 2023
This thriller is deep with its characters, totally enjoyed it 😌. I have Chris Pratt in a few movies like Jurassic World, Endgame, and The Tomorrow War, from which I like The Tomorrow War the most 👌.

Talking about this series, it's a very basic story and probably had watched many times in different movies with different twists but what makes this series best is the depth added to all characters, I mean that's what makes 8 hours of series worth watching. And Chris Pratt nailed this character perfectly, it takes just 2 eps to pull you into the story and once you are in, you are on ride with Chris's character Reece to find the people who made his life hell 🤕.

It has the drama and action mixed well to make this series engaging, but still the most important and my fav thing from his series was the depth of each character, Reece's daughter's family drawing, and how he uses that 👌, I loved it. As this series has well-written characters, I like Katie (the reporter), Reece's trusted friend Ben and Hartley, Sec. Of Def.

If the armed force, political drama, and thriller is your thing to watch then have The Terminal List in your watchlist 😏.

Creeping Thriller
9 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This is sci-fi horror, my first reaction was it's almost exactly like John Krasinski's Quite Place, just this one doesn't have any specific origin, I will not spoil this for, I mean there's nothing to spoil its just simply a creepy thrilling experience 😖.

The best part of this movie is at the end of the second act, just before the climax (or it didn't have a good climax 🤔), that is the peak suspense hits high because of some affected guy. A perfect story built up in the first half pays super well in this peak scene 👌. Now I'm thinking about how someone can live in this world, only blind people can survive this but how humans can live a whole life being blind, how will life 😶.

Spoiler Ahead Not a horror but the way aliens showed is metaphorical, I mean the concept of a movie is that you can't see aliens because if you see you will get affected which means humans don't have open eyes when they are out of the house. So, if humans can't see the alien that's why we can't see them, nicely written 👌🤔

Well, there are some cameos and I was like, wait a minute, did I see them somewhere Whiterose from Mr. Robot and David Dastmalchian, maybe you saw him in Dark Knight or any of Nolan's movies 🤣. And there is one more cameo, first I thought it was Ella from the Lucifer TV series because her face is kind of similar to hers (the one I doubt) and also it cop role, so I was just guessing. But then when I saw her in a black coat with a particular reaction (facial expression) I immediately point out it was her 😱 Rosa Salazar, aka Alita from Alita Battle Angel 😌... I wished she could have a little longer role😥

Oppenheimer (I) (2023)
10/10
Never-Experienced & Literal Seat Shaking Experience
9 August 2023
Got a chance to watch one of the anticipated movies of the year, and my first Nolan experience in IMAX.

Earlier I was a little worried about whether it would be worth watching on IMAX because I was think this is Nolan's first movie with simply just drama, no twisted actions or mind-blowing science which is his typical style 🤔.

But other than that the best-est (x infinite) part of the movie is its sound design. The background music composed by Ludwig Göransson is literally theatre-shaking 😱... I mean literally seats and body was vibrating when background music was on peak, peak means the theatre's speakers were on f*king full volume. And in addition to that the visual effects (from the first half) combined with background music are orgasms to the brain. Just let your body feel this masterpiece #meltdown. Also the build-up sound of crowd foot thumps, which reveals the climax 👌.

Imagine, what if Nolan is making a biopic on a scientist, how it'll be? Well, looks like Nolan loves to play with time😂. I mean this movie is like a compressed and detailed biopic on J. Robert Oppenheimer👀. And the movie's storytelling is twisted so that if your focus goes off you'll definitely miss something🤐and in the first half my brain was like 'Wai-wai-wait I need to go back a few seconds, what happened there'🤣. So, the parts you missed will understand in the second half, don't worry.

In fact, the second half of the movie gets super serious, after the bomb test where Oppenheimer with other few scientists starts losing their credibility and turning their life into a kind of suffering. Also, how the government was taking control over their research and making it into a weapon. And the way Oppenheimer is losing arguments is shown beautifully like he is imagining the bright light of a Nuclear Test in front of him 😮 (somehow I missed the scene where Oppenheimer imagines people dying from a chain reaction of the blast, so I can't talk about that).

One of the reasons I was excited was the role of Einstein and his relationship with Oppenheimer. Imagine two of the world's greatest minds in single screen, Einstein giving a warning about the consequences Oppenheimer going face soon, just like he had gone through 😵. It was like senior giving advice to junior 😯

Well, we didn't talk about RDJ yet 😶, you can't imagine his exceptional acting in different role. Can't believe the role of RDJ, Lewis Strauss is really a different highlight. I'll not spoil that for those who going to watch Oppenheimer's story for the first time, because you will be shocked to see the role, till the end. And to counter that, literally no other, an unexpected twist of Rami Malek that unexpected climax is damn surprising. Duh, the small screen time is sufficient to show his unique presence.

Yeah, there are so many, many actors in this movie, looks like Nolan tried to pull as many actors in the scenes. I mean I was surprised to see our normie Jack Quaid 🤣 as Richard Feymann, really energetic 👌, Matthias Schweighöfer, the smartest guy from Zack Snyder's Army of Dead 😮, David Dastmalchian, the villain of almost every movie 😅, Dylan Arnold, Love's brother from Netflix You series 🙃, Josh Hartnett from Pearl Harbor. These were unexpected faces I was able to recognize.

And in the main role, Matt Damon, as expected character personality 🤣. But what I loved was Emily Blunt aka Kitty, she has a unique powerful presence since the bringing of the movie if you watched her movies then you can feel that powerful dominance 🤐. The dialogue "You Phrased it Wrong" 👀 she killed that scene 😶, her savageness in the room 😮

And my most of most favorite part of the movie is the ending. Duh, that scene where Oppenheimer imagined the end of the world is so beautiful (with depressing meaning) but still damn unbelievable, after going through all 3 hours of the story this ending is like watching a planet burning from space, yea depressing but beautiful. And to make it super impactful comes again the best part of the music... That theatre vibration... It's still banging in my ears.

The movie is really long, 3 hours 👀 but background music, particle effects, and great dialogues with great acting by great actors 👌 make it all worth watching and I don't know if there will be any other movie with such beautiful and super impactful background music. If Avatar is for visuals then Oppenheimer got the best and never-experienced sound design. It's damn worth it, don't miss this masterpiece...

Now, my brain want to experience all of Nolan's movies in Imax 🙃.

Mission Impossible at its Best-est
23 July 2023
I'll say I enjoyed it deeply. Yea, it's a typical Tom Cruise style movie but a lot more engaging. Tom Cruise being Tom Cruise all time, his humor is always on point including other characters. And let me first do hat's off to all the female characters, damn, they all are highlights of this movie. If you want to see the best female acting in an action film, then this is it. Rebecca Ferguson has her own aura when she's on the scene, that desert scene, she ruled it. Pom Klementieff, she killed it. The most terrorizing and maniac character in the movie, if you see her car chase scene in Venice, you will never dare to stand in her way 👀. On top of that, her truck had the same terrifying personality, it was f*kin' perfect, that is my fav. Scene and also I fall in love with that silent killer, she literally killed it. Vanessa Kirby as White Widow, she's always a charming and boss-type personality, in less screen time she has her impact. And coming to Hayley Atwell is the biggest highlight and shines in every scene throughout the movie with Tom Cruise, she's at her best and peak. Well, Tom Cruise does what Tom Cruise does he runs and just runs through the lanes, and that mountain jump, is worth it.

And personally, Simon & Ving's Benji & Luther, respectively are core parts of Mission Impossible, without them it's incomplete.

The movie has moments, I mean it starts slowly with the desert scene, Abu Dhabi airport, then the terrifying Venice car chase scene, Night in the Venice with Tom & Rebecca's team, the mountain jump, and the train scene. Every moment is special you will enjoy the thrill and humor. I think it was the writing dept. Which did the best work in nailing the dialogues. That's why it's so engaging other than edge-sided actions.

Unique Storytelling with different POV
1 July 2023
These are one of those movies which are silent and have no redemption, just cold thriller no banging background music. Denis's film style is easy to catch, with wide shots trying to capture the environment in the background, and kind of feels like a documentary. The story is shown to us through Emily Blunt's character 'Kate', and from that pov, we don't know what's actually happening or what's coming next, just feels real. Because Kate is never shot anybody and worst of worst brutal scenes so it actually feels terrifying when we see the things which shock us for a moment, I Denis's movie never hides anything, no matter how brutal it is, and tells a lot through simple visuals. I was shocked to see Jon Bernthal, it reminded me of Marvel-Netflix's Punisher, lol.

I'm recently watching crime-thriller movies, maybe because I like how characters act in certain situations. I'll recommend this if you want to watch but it feels slow and maybe you'll feel bored because most of the we are just following the character who doesn't know what's next and where she's headed. So if you like watching crime thrillers, probably this you can watch them.

Certainly the best Race car movie and Story
1 July 2023
I think this is the best race car movie so far, and the best part of the movie is the camera angles of race scenes. It is just like, feels real because shot editing and the sound effects give the full experience. Christian Bale's energetic and dominating personality is all that keeps engaged till the end and Matt Damon, as always is best. It's the chemistry between these two which makes an emotional impact at the end of the movie.

Overall, this is really the best movie made on a car race. I don't know much about VFX because the cinematography and composition are so good that it feels real, especially the rainy race track that just looks cool. And in the end best actors (Christian & Matt) doing the best acting under the best director (James Mangold ).

Recommend if you want to watch something unique and loved to see car running.

Mixing Mythology and Thriller genre worked
1 July 2023
Interesting thriller, something new by mixing the genre. And the best part is the concept of Asur, the way the antagonist's personality/ideology is written is really interesting. Taking reference from Indian mythology and showing the different sides of the same world and people. It's just a show with lots of mystery attached with deep mythological connections and that's what I liked about it. In the last few minutes of season 2 for me, it turned from mythological thriller to mythological horror , just because Dj's parallel story with Nikhil and Shub's conversation was giving the vibe of actual form asur (just my imagination + the paintings shown in it)

Still, season 1 is the best in its way. I think season 1 was unique because of some fresh concept but also it never tells a full story. And season 2 is like revealing everything about the antagonist, I mean his childhood version was much colder & serious than his present version. And what's with the computer hacking team that always felt a bit off the track, even though it had the upper hand just because the most brilliant manic got loopholes in his planning, in season 2 for a moment I started doubting that the same antagonist. But still, it successfully created suspense, especially the ending, which was goosebumps. I wish it will explore some part of Shub's love life if he had one. As the series still didn't show much about Vrinda's life, plus the paintings, that was a pure haunt vibe. And Shub tells the story about how he will come back in new life and form. Totally cold and serious.

The Most Creative Animated Movie Ever
1 July 2023
Yeah, watched it finally. I mean seriously, I'm following a lot of industry artists (intentionally) on Insta and LinkedIn. And I started getting the posts of artists who were involved in making this film, and the day it was officially released, all my Insta and LinkedIn feeds flooded with behind-the-scenes shots that artists worked on. My god, it freaking huge... Every morning I opened Insta or LinkedIn, there were artist posts everywhere and it happened for 3-4 days 😱. Then there I read the news that this movie had the highest number of production crews both 3D & 2D, working simultaneously 🤐.

Looks like I need to update my favorite animated movie list, previously it was 'Into the Spider-verse', because of the story, animation, and music. Post Malone's Sunflower is still my phone ringtone for 5 years, which reminds me of the movie which is special to me and now definitely, it's 'Across the Spider-verse'. But, still, wait for it, this was just part 1 of a full sequel story... I'm super-damn-excited for 'Beyond the Spider-verse'.

This time I watched the movie in the theatre, aka big screen. So, imagine how it was, the cityscape, duh and the conversion of Gwen and Miles, at the same time, this is what the best composition is! That whole scene was romantic and breathtaking. It's just too huge to save at once in my brain. And what the hell, the story, it's just so beautiful with the background music, it's still not high as the first movie (for me) but still it's best than any other which builds the moments you fall in love and become part of the story. Other than Miles and Gwen, Oscar Isaac's Miguel O'Hara / Spider-Man 2099 is a totally different highlight of the movie, his presence sets the tense and wild mood in every scene. I mean second half is where the movie gets high on adrenaline rush, the wildness of Miguel O'Hara and the background music, sets everything on fire. And wait, if you imagine this as a complete movie then let me tell you as per story structure it was just the middle part (2nd act of 3 Act story structure), the real climax is yet to be witnessed in 'Beyond the Spider-verse'. The end part of the movie... Ho-oh, that was damn-freaking tense and unexpected (I mean it was not that difficult to guess) but I figured out the problem, that everyone faces in the multiversal stories concepts, is just that min blowing. But the way it was built up to this was like, something unbelievable.

Talking about animation, I don't need to tell you... you just need to watch this movie because this is the peak of animation (I think so), how can we measure the creativity? Every single world and character had a different art style, imagine it... How crazy can creativity can go. I loved Gwen's world which had an art style of watercolors, it changed with the mood of the story and that was just another level of beauty.

I personally enjoyed this movie deep down to my heart, because it just so f*kn' from all sides, its story is amazing, the animation is at just a different level, and dialogues-drama is beautiful. The reference to pop-cultural and real-life references, I mean when did you laugh openly (deep from your heart) while watching the movie? I mean it was a total roller coaster ride, from happy-joyful moments to sad-tensed moments. And Gwen & Miles's romance is just so beautiful with that cityscape, you'll fall in love with the movie. And another thing that stands out is the scene composition, I mean really every scene is so f*kn' beautiful, I can't just process it (it happened to me while watching Avatar: Way of Water), I say this is as eyes getting orgasm.

The thing is, Miles's character is so relatable to youngsters like us, that you understand his pov. I just wish not to cut the movie here, I mean it could have been more better if part two was added to this aka making it a 4-hour movie, and Gwen's taking the lead in the end was another best thing (from scene composition pov). There are so many things I want to talk about because I'm in love with this movie.

I definitely-x-infinity will recommend this movie, to see what the best-est animated movie looks like, there are literally no flaws. It's all-round PERFECT in a big-bold, movie.

If you hadn't watched the 'Into the Spider-verse' then start from there it's available on both Netflix and Amazon, then if possible enjoy 'Across the Spider-verse' on a big screen, just to feel the quality of the scenes.

A Good-Fun Refreshing story of the Fear of Death
1 July 2023
It was a refreshing experience, this beautiful story tells you the importance of the one life we all got. After a long time, I watched a DreamWorks Animated movie. Well, it tried to make a new animation style, taking inspiration from 'Into the Spider-verse' 2D effects but also not losing their original stylized 3D style, I like it.

Fairy tale and say what, a fun & life moral centric story focuses on Puss's story, making him take life seriously and that's interesting. But the best part of the whole movie was, the antagonist, Death... I mean hat's off to Death's acting, dialogues, and animation, you can count him as one of the coldest villains on your list. His whistle literally is scary, it feels good to listen but the tone isolates, as if it's a warning that Death is coming to you. He is the highlight of this movie. Also, I personally, like the story of the side characters, Goldi and Bears, or probably I liked Goldi's character design and character arc.

I'll recommend if you looking for something fun and life refreshing story, then definitely check this out because I bet you will be impressed by Death's presence in scenes.

Weirdly Surprising Mystery-Thriller
14 May 2023
This felt like Denis was trying to direct a dystopian movie with deep meaning. I didn't watch much of the trailer or read anything related to this movie as this just came in a year after Prisoners (2013 movie) and I thought it will be the same psychological thriller because it has the same director Denis & actor Jake Gyllenhaal of Prisoners. While I was watching this, I started getting bored because there was not much dialogue or something that will hold you but there was drama going on, so I was keeping up with the story (no spoiler, just basic thing you'll watch in trailer too) as it had two 2 different persons looking alike and having their usual life, that's it I'll not say anything after this. And what comes next will be totally unexpected shots that might make you uncomfortable, at least it pulled me from half-sleep mode to fear zone.

This is something I'll recommend everyone to watch, you need to watch this for the type of storytelling, Denis's visual style, Jake Gyllenhaal's performance, and the totally unexpected scary part in the end. F*kin' who makes a movie like his, I have a problem with watching those things (species) and it just f*kd my head in the middle of the night, I never saw that coming. Just keep your all scenes active and observe every scene to understand what's actually going on.

After watching this movie, I'll suggest you to read any articles explaining the ending from Vulture, Screen Rant, or Collider. Feels like Denis made something like Nolan's Inception-type ending but that was my fault for watching at midnight.

Pearl Harbor (2001)

Only for Bayhem Fans
14 May 2023
Watched another Michael Bay movie 'Pearl Harbour' and I will say, Bay was born to do these. Story and Dialogue wise it feels not so good but the man, he just nails every scene visually pleasing and the battle scenes where explosions are involved, he just makes it feel grand. In the beginning, you will get some kind of Top Gun feeling but when it moves from that, the actual Bayhem scene begins. Almost an hour-long battle full of explosions and chaos everywhere, it was made when VFX was kind of got matured in Hollywood and Michael Bay made the shots feel real. Yeah, there were miniature models used but there are other shots obviously not CGI (I don't know) but can say that Bay has a particular taste or style of getting beautiful shots with the help of natural lighting like evening sun. I didn't get the vibe of Hans Zimmer's background music in this because most of the time scenes have perfect sound effects (editing) like shooting or heavy metal or blasts which you will enjoy and for which it win Oscars. And yes, Ben Affleck is in the main role.

Definitely have a look at this 3-hour-long movie if you like the style of Michael Bay's work.

Fairy-Tale Fanatsy meets Modern World, ft K-drama
13 May 2023
The first reason to watch this was Woo Do-hwan, whom I saw in another K-drama Mad Dog and another reason was Kim Eun-sook, the writer known for the best Korean fantasy series, Netflix's The Glory is her recent work. Talking about The King Eternal Monarch, the editing of scenes as per the story is so engaging that it will make you guess the things happening in the story and this is what stories related to time are famous for. At some point, it reminded me of Predestination and Steins; Gate anime series. And the chemistry is so cute, I wish it had a bit better dialogue but if the story gets you into it, then it's just the fantasy and parallel world concept you will enjoy. And I understand why the scientific part of the story was not explained much clearly as needed because it had to focus on the romantic-fantasy part which it does really well. The climax episodes hold you tight with emotions and feelings which builds beautifully in the first half of episodes. But more than being emotional it was funny-friendlier type feelings. And the love triangle, you will enjoy this. Especially, Woo Do-hwan, oh man! He is the highlight of all episodes, his both characters of both worlds add spicy-funny interesting taste and Na-ri. And antagonist, damn... It could have been better, my expectations were high because of traveling between the parallel world and time, he could have been most dangerous but it's not. Just read the title of the series and see what you imagine isn't that interesting.

I have seen very few K-dramas and I was hoping to get emotionally heavy, just like I got with others but instead of that it builds tension in the last 3-4 episodes. The second half of the episodes are full of surprises that's why I said the editor did the job perfectly to keep you engaging like it makes you connect the dots (the specialty of Time-related stories)!

I recommend this if you have an interest in watching Parallel World & Time and also a fantasy love story (well this one make sense as other type of love stories). I guarantee Woo Do-hwan's acting will keep you entertained (I don't know why only his scenes are saved in my memory #(chemistry of Eun-sup/Yeong & Na-ri/Seung-ah)

And what's the reason of being the most popular K-drama on Netflix in 2020? That's the third reason I watch this. Kim Eun-sook as a writer kind of started feeling interesting for me... known for writing best K-drama fantasies.

Glorious K-drama to watch
4 April 2023
What a beautiful story. This story takes you through the pain and rough world of Moon Dong-Eun, where she gets bullied by other kids, and almost by everyone in her surrounding. And as the story is about revenge, it ends with a beautiful journey from being weakest to being most strongest, and the surrounding which made her weak ends up with their own mess and sins they made throughout their life. It feels so good to see her smile in the end, with the life she missed while chasing to reach the destiny of being... what she deserved. Yes, this becomes emotionally heavy in the end as she steps closer to what she wants, it was sad but thankfully it has a happy ending. I liked her executioner, that cute love story which really means a lot as you care for them. I wished to see his dark side but he was saved by his angel from getting burned in his own hell.

I also loved the opening sequence of the series, never skipped a single second of it every time. Especially "The Whisper of Forest" by SURAN. I will recommend this series if you ever wish to watch K-drama, then don't miss this one.

Our favourite Andrew shines as playing Jon
4 April 2023
How much do you think you do is enough for your goal, are you getting closer to the dream you always want to live, are you living happy enough while chasing your destiny? Is it really enough? Do you know the time is clicking and do you ever feel tense about the time which you thought will be a breakthrough but still every moment you feel you're far away from that? Well, this movie is about Jonathan Larson, who tirelessly chased time, before he turns 30 to prove his worthiness. That was a wonderful performance our loving Andrew Garfield. And as it is a musical-drama, it has many original songs which beautifully tell his story with deeper meaning and his point-of-view, how he sees the world. I liked the "30/90" and "Louder than words".

Definitely, it is the best pick if you want the inspiration to kick up and start building a path to reach your dream or destiny.
