L.A. Confidential (1997)
Why so overrated?
Bad things about the movie:
-The plot of this film is so basic.
- Classical femme fatale
Good things: -Amazing performance of the actors -Nice tension Music
Then, the film for me is extremely boring, dialogues on dialogues and action/something interest every 30 minutes.
I love thriller/yellow movies but Hey, maybe this is not just for me.
Honestly I feel like I wasted more than 2 hours of my life. Just skip this film, it's nothing special, use your time to watch something better lol.
I'm sorry but 10 minutes of good action can't save an entire film.
Preacher: End of the World (2019)
Why dragged so fast?
I can't understand why after 4 seasons of endless finding of God, when finally Preacher met him everything happened so fast. The fights against Jesse and Good were still good, but idk, the last 20 minutes made me be embittered, like a nostaliga for the old times. And Jesus? What end did he had? Can't rlly understand.
The final scene it's pretty good, but I think something bettere could have been written in the final 30 minutes of a 4 seasons show.
Howevere, it was a good serie, so original, funny, and also full criticism of society. It was well done, from VFX to all the sounds, music and acting was so good. So good jobs for directors and others.
Dogman (2023)
Don't believe the bad reviews.
Artistic, profound, moving and theatrical
The plot is beautiful and the protagonist, his story and his acting are fantastic and the ending is amazing.
Anyone who doesn't go to see it hates dogs.

It's still a Luc Besson's film so it worth it.
Sweet Tooth: I'll Find You (2023)
FINALLY THE QUALITY OF FIRST SEASON IS BACK
This episode is super interesting instead of the last 6 episodes of season 2.
This is the right amount of drama I like to see, and an interesting plot.
Hope that next season will be good as much as this episode.

Suzume no Tojimari (2022)
WOW, JUST WOW
The first few minutes of the movie didn't look good to me, but then, once Suzume discovered the door, the magic began. I loved the well made sounds throughout the film, and the funny idea of making Sota a chair, even if after 1 hour of him being just a chair it got boring. The idea of representing evil going out the door like that was very nice, and I really appreciated the fact that not all people could see "The Worm". I loved the scene where Suzume's Aunt got angry saying mean things to Suzume, but then she was actually the deity making her say those things (so I get it) The final scene, on the other hand, is wonderful. Suzume meets herself as a child telling her that she is her "her tomorrow" and realizing that she already had everything with her, with her chair, to have her future ready to happen. Stupendous.
Speed (1994)
No sense - Not funny - Not scripted well - Not Acted Well
This is the most no-sense action movie i've ever seen.
It's just explosions, explosions and explosions.
The scene in the elevator was acted SO BAD. The people weren't scared of falling 20 floors, that it's unbeliavable.
Only about 20 minutes they started panicking, lol ok.
In the second half of the film i can't understand why take it so long to the police to put out all the people in the bus lol.
And in the last scene, when the train went through all the things on constructions, it was clearly visible that it was a miniature and honestly th the physics behind that seemed so fake.
The only 5 stars are for the plot (so trivial but ok) and the acting of Keanu e Sandra Bullock.
T2 Trainspotting (2017)
Absolutely amazing
Wonderful cinematography, wonderful lights, wonderful acting and super interesting plots.
No strange scenes, no trash scenes, like some of the first film.
Good nostalgia and flashback scenes of Trainspotting 1.
The new girl character may not be so important, but it's not useless at all and can contains the redemption of all the group.
Maybe some dialogues was a little bit slow and boring, but it's ok.
I personally loved the final scenem in which Mark Renton returns to his home after accepted who he is, and puts the music of Iggy Pop and dances with it, then the camera go back making the room looks like a endless carriage of a train.
Obiously it's a reference of Trainspotting, the hobby which consists of collecting the model numbers of the locomotives seen (like the wallpaper of the room!).
Empire of Light (2022)
Upset by the reviews
How can people vote this film so low?
This was a beautiful story, and a good alternative way to show the racism of '80.
Acting was good, photography too, and the story is interesting. Maybe there are some little clichet's but it's a good tribute to the cinema and who works in this environment.
Yes sure it's not the best film ever, but it's enjoyable and interesting in my opinion.
Olivia Colman's facial's expression was amazing, sometimes disturbing and sometimes so calmy.
The scene in which she watched the film alone in the room of the cinema was amazing.
Regard for the music, was not wonderful but still good.
2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
For the year in which is made is a masterpiece, BUT
First thing: this was made in 1968, so you can imagine the technology in that year. But in this film, i don't know how but technology seemed so futuristic.
Second: Special effects was amazing for the year, and photography too.
Third: the problem is that all the movie is made so much slow, sometimes i wanted to put it in 2x speed.
Fourth: Dystopic and pshico type of film, but at the same time visionary and interesting.
The scene before the finale was so disturbing, but it makes sense cause he's passing the whole universe and this could be unbelievable.
Last: the final scene was strange too , but i STRONGLY suggest you to see the meaning of finale explained by Kubrick (he revealed it in a documentary of 2018).
Now i finally know what is the cradle of cinema's history.
Superman & Lois: Waiting for Superman (2022)
Finally some good VFX
In the entire two seasons, this episode contains the best vfx.
There are some things that have no sense obviously: for example, how can the suit not burn inside the sun? Lol.
Superman should be nude after reloading his cells inside of the sun.
Then, how he didn't die in the sun if he entered there as a human?
Anyway, the rest of episode was good, i liked the transictions from an earth to the other.
Fights scenes was good too.
Now Jordan has finally more powers and this is interesting.
I honestly don't care too much about Sara's dad and his wife, it didn't changed notghing in the plot honestly. Jonathan keep remaining useless, but ok.
The Flash: Heart of the Matter, Part 2 (2021)
This makes absolutely no sense
Wtf is this episode.
It doesn't make sense that Iris become another flash, and the light became a "sword".
It seems that authors are forcing things to happen 'cause nothing new is happening in the last 2 seasons.
For me, this show could have ended with season 5.
I miss the old episodes in which the plot was more continuos and not interrupted by random things happening.
And Cisco, that for me was one of the best heroes, gone away for no reason (except for stay with Camilla).
Killer frost didnt't do anything on this episode by the way.
And the fact that flash can absorb speed makes no sense for me.
The only thing that improved is the fx.
Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022)
Best film I ever watched after Interstellar
This is the mind blowing things after interstellar.
I mean, interstallar is more scientific, this is more sci-fi, but it's absolutely incredible.
Fx are perfects, photography and acting too.
It's difficult to act differents roles in just one filme, you must be a really good actor imo.
Who puts 1/10 really don't understand those films.
It was so intense that 2 hours and 19 minutes seemed 3 hours, but it worth it af.
The meaning and the speech of Jobu Tupaki is so deep and i agree with almost everything.
I love the part in which. She wants to go away from the mother but they really doesn't want.
And the love story between Waymond and Evelyn is so much interesting.
Interstellar (2014)
Best film ever made
This film is the best I've ever seen since i was born (i'm 23 yr). Better than a film like Inception or Mr. Nobody.
Soundtrack amazing, acting amazing a fantastic photography.
Plot will blow your mind, and if you won't like the film it's because you didn't understood it.
Band of Brothers: Why We Fight (2001)
I cried.
I went to Poland years ago and i saw Auschwitz, and see this episode has been almost worst than be there, because shows jew's conditions and faces and all is accurate.
Auschwitz is more a "museum", that is also horrible to remember what happen but this episode shows this too.
Groundhog Day (1993)
The last 40 minutes was so deep.
Initially it seems like a banal comic film, but every passing minute takes on an ever deeper meaning. Superb acting for Bill Murray.
Advice.
Jack Ryan (2018)
Yes, season 1 was definitely better
I usually don't like to write that season 1 of a series is better, but in this case is true.
I mean 2 season plot had no sense....sometimes there were explosions without reasons (but hey, we should expect this when executive producer is Michael Bay). However season 1 was 10000 times better, i mean i was so much interested in that story, in story characters and the plot.
I'm sorry for season 2 because this serie had potentially.
Mr. Nobody (2009)
Awesome movie
The film starts and i'm not understanding nothing: no problem, I continue to watch. Then 30 minutes I'm finally understanding a storyline... and here it comes the better: the story becomes so intense and mind-blowing, with some references of Strings Theory and some sci-fi things (it's not really fantasy, for me it's more sci-fi). Jared Leto was perfect in acting...as well Director and other actors.
The kids/boys in the movie acted perfectly as well.
I love how the film ends...cause (I don't have to tell you, u will understand if u watch :D )
However, if u love sci-fi films like this, Interstellar, distopic films ect i suggest to watch this film.
Watchmen: Little Fear of Lightning (2019)
So deeply beautiful
This episode makes me think how unfair the world is with everyone. ("White" and "black" people). Racism can be defeated with the culture of respect and, in my opinion, sometimes we need someone who can do something that other people CANNOT do (or do not want to do). Good acting of all the actors and good shooting and special effects.
Cloak & Dagger: B Sides (2019)
This episode was boring af
This episode annoyed me so much. Everything is casually scripted, there is not a logical sense of the storyline. Why make useless episodes?
Black Mirror: Bandersnatch (2018)
Overrated
This Episode/Film is overrated. I know that the writers did what they want to do... but to be honest chosing the scenes will be frustrating and boring... and there's a trash scene. Black Mirror could have do better.
However, greetings Fionn Whitehead for acting well.
