Angel Flight: Kokusai Reikyu Sokanshi: Shattered Dreams in the Slums (2023)
The plot and the acting are entertaining, but the events in the Philippines are ridiculous.
I can ignore the fact that the episode perpetuates the dangerous Manila slum stereotype - don't get me wrong, they can be dangerous but people won't just look at you menacingly for no reason. But why would the hospital just release Yohei's body to unrelated individuals when family members have already claimed it and even the Japanese embassy is involved? Why did Rinko have to keep translating what Nami says into English when they have a person from the embassy who can speak Filipino with them? How did Yohei raise capital for his mini farm when he lost all his money before moving into the slums? And where on earth did the gang leader get his impeccable American accent?
Charmed: Dead Man Dating (1998)
Not a bad episode but a racist line irked me
When the police finds Mark's body and it makes the news, Prue comments that Mark and Tony look so much alike it could confuse the cops. They look nothing like each other.
Yakusoku no Neverland: Episode #2.6 (2021)
Mostly flashback
Nothing truly happens in this episode. Basically a recap of the entire series so far. Totally unnecessary especially when you've just been binge watching the past few days.
Young Sheldon: A Computer, a Plastic Pony, and a Case of Beer (2018)
Horrible parenting
I know they're probably trying their best to raise their kids with what they have but they were both just petty and uncompromising. This blows over and they're putting their petty fight over the welfare of their children. In this episode, the kids were the most insightful.
