I've had this movie in my list for over a year, but I'd never really felt compelled to watch it. Now I'm angry at myself for waiting so long!

I wish that I didn't have to continuously wade through the 90% of crap movies that Netflix puts out, in order to find the few gems that are actually there, but when I find a movie like this one, it makes the effort worth it!

If you like these types of movies, then I highly recommend that you watch this one!

If you usually pass on foreign language movies, and having to read subtitles, don't worry! This movie has an option for English audio.

I don't care if that makes me come across as less sophisticated than all of you professional critics who just love reading your own words, because if only one person reads this review and watches this movie, because I mentioned the English audio, then it was all worth it!

The Sandman has everything I love! It's fantastical, emotional, scary and it's strangely sweet.

I've only watched 6 episodes, so far, but I'm already sad, because it will only take me another day or so to finish the last 4, and then it will be over.

I've only ever written a few silly reviews for shows that I've really liked (or hated). I am in no way a prolific reviewer or an expert on TV or film. I am just a girl from Los Angeles, and I like what I like!

Episode 6 is what prompted me to write this review of The Sandman. I LOVE the show, and episodes 1 - 5 have me thoroughly hooked, but episode 6...

EPISODE 6 MOVED ME! It is the best episode so far, and I just can't imagine how they could top it! I won't say anymore, because I don't want to spoil it for anyone.

If you happen upon my review, please keep in mind that I am not knowledgeable (or full of myself) enough to dissect the show, and comment on the directing and acting, other than to say that I think it's all wonderful!

I've FINALLY made it through all 8 episodes. It's a good show, but it was so frikkin slow that it was impossible to just sit still and watch it. So I watched it while I did the dishes, while I played on my phone, while I paid bills, etc... Every time I tried to just sit down and watch an episode, I found myself fast forwarding until something happened.

I just hope that the next season picks up the pace!

I just finished the fifth and final episode. The series was interesting, but you don't come away from it thinking, "Oh my God that was so good!". I think Hulu was smart to air the episodes the way that they did. Two on day one, and then one each day until the finale. If I had to come back each week to watch this series, I most likely would never have made it to the end.

Based on just this first episode, I absolutely love this show! Comedy/horror is my favorite genre, and this show is awesome!! A couple of jump-scares, not overdone at all. The lead actress is hilarious!! I can't wait for next week. They should have put out two or three episodes to start, but oh well!

I don't watch foreign films. I am not a fan of subtitles, but I could not resist watching this movie due to the premise. I was not disappointed! I loved this movie so much, that 10 minutes in, I forgot that I was even reading subtitles!

As always, Tom Hardy was absolutely amazing! I felt like I was right there in the car with him, experiencing every emotion as if lit were my own! BRILLIANT!!!

I am flabbergasted at how truly terrible the acting was in this movie. How could they have possibly watched their own movie and thought, "I am so proud of my performance!"???!!!??

Please don't waste your time on what can only be described as a high school project.

It may get annoying later, it's definitely a bit silly, but the ghosts are hilarious!

The husband's character is kind of fun, but the wife is edging towards irritating. If she doesn't seriously bring the "perky" down a few notches, this show will get annoying now, rather than later.

The ghosts are awesome, and they will be the reason that I continue watching (at least for as long as I can deal with Mrs Perky)!

I just finished episode 3, and I recommend that you watch the first 3 episodes before rendering an opinion. I wouldn't have made it this far, except that the ghosts seriously crack me up!

I watch a lot of horror movies, and besides the jump-scares, they're rarely very scary. The first 3/4 of this movie, however, was so frightening that I had to watch it in two separate sittings!

I thought the actor who played the little boy was amazing! It was his fear that made me so afraid!!

I don't know why the rating is so low for this movie. I don't scare easily, but maybe watching it on consecutive nights, at 2 in the morning, had something to do with it! Who cares, it scared the crap out of me!!!

I wish there were more mafia/vampire movies. If you love mob movies, and you love vampire movies, then this is a must-see!

I loved the mafia angle, and seeing all of the familiar faces made it even more fun to watch!

It didn't feel like I was watching a thirty-year-old movie, except that all of the familiar faces were 30 years younger!

It was both funny and entertaining! I kind of loved it, but it's definitely not worth a second watch...

I really liked it! I never make it past 45 minutes of any movie, before I turn it off and watch the rest the next day. I actually watched this one all of the way through in one sitting.

I know that it's a silly and superficial show, and definitely not the type of sitcom that I prefer to watch, but I laughed during every episode!!

WHY?? Why does almost the entire movie have to be subtitled?? If I wanted to read, I'd read a book.

This is my absolute FAVORITE show, but I am sooooooo sick of Dr. Sturgis!! When he was committed to a psychiatric hospital, I thought (hoped) that he wasn't coming back. Unfortunately that isn't the case.

What "brilliant" writer decided that boring water rights would make a good story??
