Deep Water (2019)
Watchable predictable nonsense
Lovely scenery and gorgeous houses (even the 'poor' couple's rented terrace looks good to me), enough bad decisions to keep you watching but completely preposterous and SO full of holes... I am fairly sure a hospital won't release a suicide attempt back to look after her kids the very same day without getting therapy in place and sending some sort of social worker to check it all out. I'm also pretty sure that the husband couldn't have 2 families in such a small community and nobody actually know. And all the sex looked so bad - deffo not worth risking a marriage (or pregnancy/std) for, and certainly not worth £10k!! Still, it was quite entertaining.
The Bell (1982)
Please someone make this into a film
I just read the book for the first time and it was so visual to me that I thought I'd seen a film version. Google revealed that it's never been a film so I must have seen this series when I was 10! Surely due a remake as a film this time?
