Malayalee Audience , pls wake up;
27 August 2022
I am saddened that this movie was not profitable. The imagery, (Black pig, rubber tapping , land) foreshadowing, editing, technical work (camera, sound, lights) was just too dam good.

I cant believe kadvua made more in BO than this movie.

The fact that the character fahadh played, the guy who didnt like sharing a curry at a thattukada had to drink the nastiest water ever to survive was too epic. The way how he walked in a hobble state at the end to see the only love he has left (ponni) was too emotional.

As an expat, I am again worried that my native ppl did not see the sheer brilliance this movie displayed.

Decent Movie but horrible title

I think the poster artwork and the title itself failed this movie. Siddique was masterful in the climax scenes as a rugged politician. Asif was solid as usual so was R. Vijayan. I think if they had changed the title, it would ran a bit better in theaters.

Amateurish acting and editing failed this movie
25 August 2022
Where do they find dudes like this? The protagonist and antagonist all look the same in looks and acting! The character development was downright bad.

Although the topic is socially relevant it did little to nothing to make an impact. It was lazily written and poorly depicted. The editing is so rushed and wonky.

Also, off topic but whats sup with this lead actress( A. Rajan) always saying the same lines over and over agian in every dam movie? For ex: "Oh all these guys are lusting over me cuz im a girl" " I am a girl and poor me" (For ex, TMD and Super Sharanya). Is she the only girl in the whole dang movie? Even better question is, why does her characters make her think she is the best looking girl in town? Pitiful.

She is obv. Being typecasted and its sad that she is agreeing to do the same old character over and over again.

Already Seen this before.

Although it had a 7/10 performance from Jayasurya and Ms. Menon, the movie is just super dragging.

I think of this movie as a mixture of Pursuit of Happiness and Ranjith's Spirit mixed together. It was just meh and the acting performances does not overppower how tedious it was to watch it.

If they shortened the movie to atleast 1hr30 - 1hr40mins, it would been a decent watch.

Prithvi is Back
29 October 2020
Since Ennu Ninte Moideen, (which i thought was an average movie from Prithviraj), he opted into some VERY questionable, horrible roles that degraded his career. His recent films (Brothers day , BARF!), My Story (DOUBLE BARF) are some examples of this.

I didnt have any expectation from this movie but after coming out of the theater, i was amazed by his performance. Biju Menon and the lady who played his wife was downright amazing. Overall a brilliant movie from Sachy, You can see why Prithvi was saddened to his buddy leave this world. He truly revived Prithivi's movie career before passing away. Thank you Sachy for this wonderful movie. RIP!

Solid Movie
29 October 2020
The Movie is solid, however, the movie could of been done better without Mammootty. To be frank, this movie does not compliment acting skills. Mammooty movies are very good when he outshines his supporting Cast. In this case, He has very few dialogues and some of it is just corny, cliche (Avade Adikk, Igane Alla etc). I would think Suresh Gopi could of mastered this role very well. Anyways its a 6/10 for me.
