Death Note: Desu nôto (2006)
This review is for the 1st half.
In my opinion, Death note is a 25 episode long anime, forget the last 12 episodes. They do nothing but ruin an otherwise perfect series. The finale was disappointing to say the least. Which is why I'm just going to forget the second half exists.
Astronaut (2019)
An Epic masterpiece
Truly epic, if it were Opposite Day. And no, that is not an understatement.
Friday the 13th Part III (1982)
Full of unintentional laughs
This is one of the stupidest horror movies ever made! But it's so damn funny!
There Will Be Blood (2007)
The best of all time!
There Will Be Blood came out in 2007 and won two Oscars at the Academy. And for good reason! Daniel Day-Lewis gives this film, just like every other film he's done, his best acting possible, and he doesn't disappoint! Paul Dano also did a great job and I always wonder why he didn't win Best supporting actor. Not sure.
Another great thing this film has going for it is Robert Elswit's beautiful cinematography, the best I've ever seen! That combined with Paul Thomas Anderson's direction and Daniel Day-Lewis's performance make this 2 1/2 hour long epic a masterpiece worth seeing many many times.
I watched this movie on Netflix 7 times and decided to buy the Bly-ray. I will be watching it many more times to come!
Verotika (2019)
If there was a rating lower than 1, this movie gets it.
"Verotika" has to be the worst movie of 2019 and possibly of all time! It makes "The Room" look like a decent movie! It's honestly an embarrassment to the art of filmmaking and never should've been made. If I could, I would take all copies of this movie and BURN IT!!!
Hazbin Hotel (2019)
Good but there's room for improvement
The Good:
* Incredible art and animation
* Good original story
* Well done characters
* Good writing and comedy
The Bad:
* Pacing could be a bit better
* Some unnecessary scenes/characters
* Some lines of dialogue make not much sense
The Ugly:
*Nothing really.
Conclusion:
All in all, a good pilot for what could be a great adult animated series. Overall, for an indie project, I'm quite impressed.
I wish Vivziepop and her team the best of luck!

It Chapter Two (2019)
Meh, it was okay
I was quite excited for this film but all in all kind of disappointing. CGI was mediocre at times and the pacing was lackluster. Nowhere near as good as the first film. Definitely not worth 2hr 49min in my opinion.
American Pop (1981)
An underrated work of art!
This is honestly my favorite animated film. Hard to believe it came out in 1981. The animation is visually stunning and ahead of its time! The music is amazing, overall, it's a 10/10 in my book, I was invested throughout!
So, if you like animation and music, definitely worth a watch! Hopefully a Blu-Ray release comes soon!
Helluva Boss (2019)
The show of the year, right here
I'll be honest with you, I never saw Hazbin Hotel before. So I didn't know what to expect with Helluva Boss. I was pleasantly surprised with Helluva Boss. The pacing is good, the voice acting was on-point, and the story was well written. And can I just say, that it's also very funny? I was watching this and I was like, "Holy shit this is one of the funniest comedies I've seen this year". Honestly if you haven't seen Helluva Boss before, do yourself a favor and check it out, I don't think you will be disappointed.
