The New York Times Presents: Elon Musk's Crash Course (2022)
The reviews rated 1 or 2 stars are probably written by Tesla owners
A well made a well researched documentary on how difficult it is to make a self driving car. Former employees stating that they were up to a pretty difficult task. I do have a lot of admiration for Elon Musk, but his promises on how fast and how safe Teslas auto pilot is, are more than optimistic. Even in early 2023 Full Self Driving is not working at all. When driving in FSD the car feels nervous and unpredictable. It works okay at straight roads when trafic and environment is not to complex. Removing the radar hasn't improved anything. I honestly would feel robbed if I had paid 10.000 USD for the system.
The movie is at lot better than stated by the people stating that the documentary is biased.
Space Force (2020)
Ape with a screwdriver!
Absolutely one of the most absurd and funny series I have ever seen.
Typical scene: A satelite gets its panes chopped of. What to do? A nearby capsule contains an ape: "Let the ape reattach the panes with a screwdriver ..."
Some Assembly Required (2014)
Ingenious
Absurd, funny and well thought. I love it - and I am far away from the target age.
