Scream VI (2023)
Almost got me
I knew going in that the movie would be bad simply based on how much more terrible they got with each installment. They almost had me, though. It started off with good acting and everything. They made me think there was a chance. Then it just got dumber and dumber. The killer clearly had super human strength throughout the entire movie, lifting people with one arm and such. Come to find out they picked the weakest characters in the entire movie to be the killers. And I'm expected to believe he chopped up the guy in the bathtub and the victim didn't even make a peep? Many times, they had their cell phones available and decided calling for help would be the craziest idea in the world. At least some movies come up with a cliche excuse of no signal or dead battery. Mindy was the worst character I've ever seen in a movie. Incredible annoying. Overly obnoxious. Besides her and anything that involved action sequences, it was almost enjoyable.
Brainwashed: Sex-Camera-Power (2022)
Worst "documentary" (opinion piece) I've ever seen
The whole thing drags on with constant contradictions. "See how they aren't wearing enough clothes, that's sexist"
"See how they're wearing too many clothes, that's sexist"
That's the whole script(obviously, I'm exaggerating, but not by much)
It's a collection of the most unattractive man haters they could find, who are angry that men don't want them, talking about how terrible men are.
The whole thing makes about 2 half decent points and just rattles on about nonsense after that.
I'm going to insult my self and point out the obvious: if you don't like it, don't watch it... Sadly, it's too late for me and this film.
Three Thousand Years of Longing (2022)
It was worth my time
I enjoyed about 95% of this movie. The whole movie has great effects, wardrobe, etc and is very well written and acted. Maybe I'm just a little biased because I think Elba is incredible in everything and makes any movie he's in worth watching. I feel like the ending kinda fell flat, but still enjoyed watching it.
Apparently, all of that isn't even half of the number of characters required. It's gonna be tough because this movie really only has two main characters so I don't know how to mention 598 more of them... Lol
Anyways. What's the least spoken language in America? Sign language. Ba dum tss.
Fall (2022)
Predictable and boring
In the first 3 seconds, I said "that guy is gonna die"
The moment the friend had a mysterious boyfriend "she was banging the boyfriend"
Very unlikeable characters with even less likable acting. Even Marvel movies are more realistic and less predictable than this.
Apparently I need at least 600 characters, so I better "Kamala Harris" this review
We need to work together to work harder together to ask others to work together together and make better movies by working together with workers who work together.
Holy cow. Apparently I still need more. Luckily I downloaded this movie for free so I was able to skip through the worst of the worst parts. If I had seen this in theaters, I would have been very upset with myself.
CNN Special Report: The Cult of QAnon (2021)
Wow... Just wow
I watched this hoping for an informative show. I was interested in learning about how the whole thing came about. But this is just leftist drivel made to act like liberals are perfect creatures.
Celebrating America: PBS NewsHour Presents (2021)
Well, this is embarrassing
Just a collection of rich people telling us poor people that they are better than us.
Antebellum (2020)
3 stars for the acting
That was just dumb... At first, I was rooting for the slaves. I know it used to be that way, and it's terrible. I was hoping they would revolt and kill all the soldiers. Then, it suddenly changed to present day and the past was all just a dream. The main family is a very well off black family complaining about how terrible life is for black people. For about an hour, it's just about degrading white people. Then suddenly, she's back to being a slave, but her dream was all real... Or something. It really doesn't make any sense. The acting and directing were fantastic, except for the nasty "Precious" girl. Her character was just disgusting. The writing/story was what really made this movie overall a waste of time.
Irresistible (2020)
Very entertaining!
First off, I'd actually give this movie about an 8. The low reviews are from sensitive people who can't handle the truth through comedy. This movie was great. It very subtly makes fun of democrats, which is strange given the Democrat screenwriter/director. But that is likely the reason of the low ratings.
In any case, the movie was very enjoyable, well written and easily the most entertaining movie I've seen in quite some time.
The Fare (2018)
Watch this!
I created an account(which was a bit of a hassle) just to review this movie. I rated it a ten because it easily deserves better than 5.5. I'd give it between a 7 and 8. I watch a lot of movies and this is the first one in a very long time that kept me interested, kept me guessing, incorrectly every time, and made me want to strongly recommend it... what are you doing? Stop reading this review and go watch the movie already
