Perfumed Garden: Tales of the Kama Sutra (2000)
More enlightening than arousing, I should have went to bed instead.
My girlfriend and I got the video in hopes of seeing an arousing movie. We were disappointed. The movie was slow, the storyline was okay, but wouldn't make sense if you didn't already know something about Karma and the Kama Sutra to begin with. The whole story could have taken up 30 minutes of film. If it did, it would have been better.
First Knight (1995)
An awesome adventure!
Great scenes! Wonderful adventure touching loyalty, furious battles, tragic betrayal. Altogether, this is a great movie that you shouldn't miss! Any movie that make me, Mr. Macho, shed a tear, has got to be worth watching!
The Adventures of Bob & Doug McKenzie: Strange Brew (1983)
Beauty, eh!
When this show first came out, I was 14 years old. I watched it every time it came on cable. It took me 17 tears to buy the video, and I'm glad I did! This show is so funny! Without spoiling the plot, here's a very funny part of the movie: Hoser, the MacKenzie brothers' dog, wanted a beer. So they poured one into his nasty, dirty dog dish. Dad yells from the other room, "You hosers better not take my last beer!" In a panic, they pour the contents of the dog dish into a glass and place it on the table for Dad. Chunks of old dog food are easily seen floating in the beer. That kind of crazy humor is found throughout the flick!
Dude, Where's My Car? (2000)
A grueling, gnarly workout for the laugh muscles!
If you're looking for an intelligent show, don't see this. But if you like non-stop laughs, this is a must see! Some won't appreciate the silliness, but this is a great movie that pokes great fun at a couple of dudes that have killed off all but their last remaining brain cell. And yes, it does appear that they share the same one.
To Die For (1995)
Slow, long, and boring
This does not hold interest. The best appeal this movie has is Nicole Kidman. If not for her sex appeal, I would not have wasted my time all the way to the end of the movie. The climax is near the beginning of the movie, and even that was a disappointment. Go see a Pee Wee Herman movie to find more gripping suspense.
