Step into the Page (2015)
Future of Story Telling
In "Step into the Page", Disney animator, Glen Keane speaks of his process of drawing characters from The Little Mermaid and the motions of Beast from Beauty and the Beast. He learned to draw at an early age from his father Bill Keane, cartoonist who created The Family Circus. Now, while teaching his own son about drawing and illustration, he experiences what the future of this art holds. And how new technology, such as Virtual Reality (VR) drawing can form his characters in shades of real life and 3 dimensions. Meeting the person behind the drawings and his sharing a bit of his thoughts, makes animation relevant to all ages, and talents.

Loved the Music/Score
Wonderfully subtle, complimenting the action. I was so engrossed with the characters and the scenery but was struck by the accompaniment of the score and the music throughout the movie. Yes, even the percussion interludes, which you'll understand after watching. Contemporary, often etherial. I forget to read the credits (my apologies to the artists), and enjoyed the voice of Kellie Blase and her song (although I wasn't sure if the synch was off, or perhaps overdubbed, but it was too pretty to be petty while watching). Hoping someone might read this and update the technical part with the composers and other artists too. Lovely.
