This is an extremely disturbing reality of the horrors women experience in the time of war & the lack of responsibility men refuse to take after they have committed these crimes against girls who are Children at the time of the atrocities. I cannot get the one young girl out of my mind. After Being beaten and raped continuously while tied to a tree she is trying to have some semblance of a regular Life. She has had 8 unsuccessful surgeries to correct the fistulae's in her vagina. The men attacked her with all kinds of weapons causing irreparable Changes to her body. She barely walk. When the nun said you always look nice and smell good it indicates that the woman has not control over probably her bowel and bladder discharge From her body. The other memorable moments are one of the man being tried for his crimes while he laughed and smirked at the thought of him actually being punished when no one is being punished in fact there is mass corruption in cover ups of these men. The last view of a creepy middle aged man standing by his house in his boxers looking every bit of the loser he is got really angry when his old neighbor who was raped and tortured by him tried to ask him why he did not admit he knew her as a friend of the family he began yelling like a madman," I am not testifying"! When she returned to the car her entire body was shaking because she had the COURAGE to speak to this monster after 19 years of mental torture. The LOOK in her eyes said it all. PAIN, SHAME, All Loss of Dignity and Endless suffering.

This is one of the best K-drama's I have seen. The writing & acting are superb. I like that it is not the typical k-drama story. I appreciate all of the tough situations that are addressed. Thank you for adding a story about "Comfort Women" in WW2. I find it sad that Japan has Never really apologized to the women who were ripped out of their homes & treated horribly as sex slaves for Japanese soldiers. Most of these women suffered terribly & most have passed away. I was crying over the episode about the Korean Army Vet. I think Veterans are not appreciated enough for what they do for their countries. The aftermath can be lifelong & devastating. The ending of that episode was beautiful ask the of the reapers honored the man as he passed away. I like the stories of the reapers lives & the episode with the beautiful puppy, "Kong."

Heath cliff, Katherine & the Housekeeper are forever imprinted in my brain. I have seen Every Film Version of this & Ralph Fiennes Emotes Pain so amazingly when he bursts in to hold Katherine dead body! Unforgettable!

I only watched this because a favorite actress of mine "Yeoh-Seo Oh is listed as being in it. The closest person to her would be the actress who is trying to hide from the public, but that is not her. If anyone wants to see a good film of hers watch "A Korean Odyssey " 2017 on Netflix. Anyway this is a light film about a simple family traveling to Hawaii as they won a price off of a bottle cap. The trip brings about all kinds of surprises like that the mother & father were top espionage agents for different sides. The fighting & discovery on the plane makes for a rather light comedy. I hat flying but I am certain that some of the fight scenes would not be possible. A plain would decompress when guns are fired inside the cabin, and the emergency door being open would also make the plane lose altitude. It is improbable that people could stand by the open door calmly what to do next. Taking that into consideration it is a fun watch. I gave it a 9 because I did not see Yeon-Seo Oh in the movie.

I am a new fan of Yeon-Seo Oh from "A Korean Odyssey", I loved her in it. This is an underrated series. It came out same time as "Descendants of the Sun" I won't watch it. As a Registered Nurse my whole life I can't stand all the mistakes made on screen by doctors, nurses the hospital settings etc. II thought that Rain & Yeon-Seo Oh stole the show with their antics of him being in another man's body & her being the woman inside a man's body. The story is good but at times the love story runs a little too slow for me. Lee tae Jean & Yeon -Seo Oh had the most onscreen chemistry though they are not the main couple. Lee min-Jung is beautiful but boring in this series. It could be her characters lack of development? The father In-Jean Park is a delight to watch as the father figure. He is also the father in another series"Lost" 2021 on Iqui. Com.where he is a stand out character. I watched this 2 times.

I am a fan of Kim Go-Eun. "Coin Laundry Girl", "Memories of the Sword" & "Goblin". I can't get all of her shows in USA but would watch if I could. I am a new fan of Ahn Bo-Hyundai & Jinyung park. Ever since I saw" I saw the Devil" I have become a serious k-drama fan at the beginning of our mutual Pandemic. Many shows say the actors have great chemistry but this is the first time that I Really got that this couple could be a real couple on or off the screen & I thank you for whatever your magic you really had or great acting. These days it is nice to see uplifting stories so I was so very bummed at the ending. I did not want to see this couple break up. I saw on u-tube that a character named Soonrick will appear. My vote is for Park Bo Gum. He was in "Coin Laundry Girl with KimGo-Eun & he completed his military service. I loved him in Reply 1988. He was on the list of many names suggested to play that part. I enjoy jinyoung park as Bobby in women's clothing. Especially his pinky finger being up when he drank from a cup. He was very cute is women's clothes. I listened to Jinyoung of Got7 on u-tube. What a beautiful voice. He does have a great gift & he seems to be a natural actor. His dancing reminds me of Rain, who I happen to appreciate, as an actor & musician. He also helped a lot of people with their rents when COVID began. So many dancers around the world look like Michael Jackson the OG of dancing in pop music. Rain looks original. In fact, Bob Fosse made the first moonwalk that Jackson is famous for, in an old movie called "The Little Prince"1974. Bob Fosse was a famous American choreographer in the 60's & 70's. He transformed dancing according to his own physical limitations. I also enjoyed "Ruby" & "Wook" in the show. I read that Kim Go-Eun will be playing the "Little Women". A classic. I really liked them 1933 version with Katharine Hepburn as Jo March. I read that Wi Ha-Joon will be in it. Though he is known from "Squid Games"2021 he & Lee Dong-Wook have a great bromance in the new series"Bad & Crazy", like Gong-Yoo & Lee Dong-Wook in "Goblin" 2016-2017. I did enjoy all of the Cells & maybe an emoji could be created for Ku Woong(Ahn Bo-Hyundai. I am looking forward to Season 2 of "Yumi,s Cells". Fortunately I can see it on Viki/Rakuten tv.
