Heartstopper (2022)
pretty much being jealous of Charlie living a gay teen's dream
So here's the thing, i like the show to be honest, its one of the most uncontroversial shows on teenagehood and sexuality, and the fun of it is to just see the characters being themselves, and also the way they approach darker themes such as toxic relationships, its honestly isnt bad. Like i deeply resent charlie finding a hunk boyfriend who is very cute and sweet to him, like thats the show i need.
But to be honest, some of the things i mentioned also makes it a show that's kinda mid for me. Like the characters most of the time are just a facade, even though they have deeper issues in them but like they just fill up the basic role of coming of age movie characters, also its a bit too quriky for me,
Dead Boy Detectives (2024)
Enjoyable
I was hooked by the trailer since it had some interesting potential and mystery plot,I was kinda bummed by how they handled the mysteries, but still though I enjoyed the characters going through cases to cases and having small noticable character growth, and the actors were fine but the problem comes with the dialogue, sometimes they were handled pretty well and funny when it's funny but sometimes it's a bit off like how crystal brings up about her problems, the other thing I hated is the pacing was a bit too fast for me and the character arcs weren't handled well, but I was still having fun watching it, I would recommend for a fun watch, so can't wait for season 2.
Dragonball Evolution (2009)
The beggining of live action remakes
This movie is the reason as to why live action anime are failing. It fails to potray the characters as seen to the priginal anime, and i hated it, because how they potrayed Goku. In the original Dragom ball, Goku was techinically this enthusiatic, funny, charmin and determined worrior, but in this i dont see any charms that made Goku shine in the original Dragon ball. The biggest problem also, as to why live action animes fail is that animes are special as they are, it's more visually pleasing than watching a fricking pain in the a** cosplay so people, stop these live action remakes. It's bad and is betraying the anime it tries to potray.
Infinity Train (2019)
The kind of Sci-fi fantasy cartoon network should be making
Everyone knows how boring cartoon network and other kids shows are today. But still there's still some good watch such as The Owl House. And this series deserves to be a masterpiece. From the writing to the characters and comedy it's definitely a good kids show
Each season of the show follows the same structure. And the story will always centralize on the characters of the season and with this way it makes it a pretty fun show to watch. It's a fun anthology really
but also while we continue on this journey to see these character grow we also learn the secrets of the train. And there's still a lot to study about this show and that what makes it a good show. But now I'm kind of pissed of that it ended.
Stranger Things: Chapter Seven: The Massacre at Hawkins Lab (2022)
Traumatized
Ok ya'll i have not much to say but st4 is better than season 3 and 2, with it being the most darkest season but also having to reveal question which we asked since season 1
conclusion, the most scary season and they also warned us.
Euphoria (2019)
Better than most teen-drama
I'm Baffled by the review that this show is despicable but nay i thougt this show it's better than most of the teen-drama the characters are fit for this show the cinematography is perfect and the story itself is awsome
Now let's go to what should be known as the main topic, that is the writing, The character is fit for the story, the writers gave time for us to have empathy on the character even the ones we hate and they made a tool which is perfect and that is the power of the establishing scenes perfect for having to make us feel empathy for the character. They have flaws but still we can have a little heart for them, such as Nate Jacobs who is technically the most hated character in the show "but i hate Roy and Troy the most" i still had a sense of empathy to the character and that's the best thing about the writing in euphoria.
Us (2019)
The consequences of adding too much
Okay this film could've been a masterpiece if it wasn't for the family the final between Adeline and her tethered version showed ow much this movie could be gold but yet the family was the flaw and the inconsistency that was all over the film
First the inconsistency that is the main topic, it ruins the whole mood of the movie. First we see on a dreadfully killer thriller but then one of the character says something funny which isn't related to the scene that was one flaw
The family, It was the biggest flaw of all is that the family really wasn't needed to be there they contributed little to the movie while Adeline and her son were the one who were gold in the series, the final battle really showed the potential of this film how much it could really be better.
Last Night in Soho (2021)
the annoying fleas
The whole idea of the film was pretty great the cinematography was golden and the choice of music as perfect but only two fleas were left in the movie that had to be smashed, the two characters who were just there for no reason at all Eloise and John they really weren't finished, as they walk in the movie a thought always itched in my head why?. The other characters where perfect this movie could be gold but. The two annoying fleas itched my mind and stole the 2 stars from the film.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021)
one problem
Movies has this one thing that makes the audience disappointed but not hate it and that is predictability this ghostbuster was definitely better than the 2016 version though i haven't watched because it seemed stupid from the trailer but this was different better but one flaw is that they made it a literal copycat of the first ghostbusters that's the one flaw of the movie.
Lost in Space (2018)
season 3 predictable
I kind of like this show it's great the first season was pretty great fir a beginning of a series it established the series smoothly then the second season was where it got intense the mystery seems to grow even larger and the stakes were larger and also the Special FX was kind of cool but season 2 delivered the best of the series with season 3 it's kind of the same as season 2 i mean i know i would want to have the same feeling as season 2 but season 3 seemed more of a copy cat of season 2 and 1 that it felt predictable will is in the edge of dying but then voila he somehow survives i knew what would happen so i really didn't seem to be so into season 3 it didn't give an epic execution for the series and Judy's dad was found but he didn't seem to be contributing on the series like how i had expected.
Them (2021)
UNWATCHABLE
So heres the thing, you cant expect everyone to find this show even watchable, because its pretty gruesome and some of the scenes are hard to watch because of thedepiction of violence and racism, and like thats the point, it actually does well on portraying the message its trying to say but at the cost of being pretty disturbing. But i really had "fun"? Watching it, or maybe i was just hooked, especially with season 2 because it was better than season one because the mystery became better and it was more into the character's emotion than season 1, and season 2 also matched well with the lore behind the series. But the biggest flaw in both seasons is just that it didnt have an impactfull ending . But overall, i was at the edge of my seat while watching THEM.
Midnight Mass (2021)
Great show
Midnight mass is the same as Mike Flanagan's other horror movies and tv series but it had a bit of taste that made it even scarier and better
it kept it secret stealthy it had great way of illustration just lie the haunting of hill house had but midnight mass did it better,
there's something pretty scary about, maybe it's the fact that it was about the community going against each other like Mike Flanagan said
that's why I was pretty scared in the 6th episode is that the people had to make a choice join them or get killed.
The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020)
Disappointing, but great at the end
The haunting of hill house, pretty much it became a famous horror tv show. And for a good reason too, it' everything you love, great characters, great stories, and pretty sad ending but also happy ending, and it had also a sense of mystery and like reading a book it's show not telling,
But the haunting of bly manor lost the magic,
The first few episodes were pretty much odd and boring, it didn't felt better or as perfect the haunting of hill house did, until I reached to half the season, and yeah it had a little bit of magic that the haunting of hill house gave and it also had dug deep into the ghosts that was one of the new magic the haunting of bly manor gave,
so was a really painfully boring season, but had a little magic too, Just. Reach at the 5th or 6th episode it starts showing it's magic.
Stranger Things (2016)
Still watching
It's kind of hard to write a bad review to this show cause comparing this show to any other sh_t_y shows even the 2 latest seasons it's a pretty great masterpiece
Season 1 was flawless it was the reason why i started watching and will now forever not miss a single episode of this show cause it's amazing to watch it's a mixture of two of my favorite genre
Season 2 was also a pretty great season not better than season 1 but still it got out the best of it though it does have big flaw making it have a fate being called the worst season but to me it might be the 2nd best season (in comparison) it still had that sense of being horrifying by establishing a new scary monster the mind flayer and that made season 2 a bit scarier than the 3rd season
Season 3 it is a great season but have massive flaws thinking abot them just makes it bad but not saying that it was real bad i'm saying that it just had a potential to be the most emotional of all but didn't execute it very well in comparison to the other season this was my least favorite though it did had some aspect that made me so in love than the other season but it wasn't that much to make me so hyped as the other seasons. But in this season after watching all the teasers it felt more of a catalyst for season 4 forcing the characters to be in certain situations I just hope that they'd do it right in this season
In conclusion based on the title I've written stranger things is pretty great show the 2 seasons might have some flaws but most shows do perfection is just an imaginary word and the show-runners are doing a perfect job by trying to change some aspects of the shows but still stays true to it's root it has great cinematography great writing though season 3 did have soe flaws on writing but overall this shows is my favorite show of all time.
Sex Education (2019)
Great show but seasn 3 got mixed
I really like this show, it stands up for it genre and talks important topics which aren't normally being talked
The writing is pretty well done and I like the representation
but i felt season 3 got a bit loose still a great season I really loved it
my rating for s3 is 9/10.
