Nothing new, but decent fun
29 December 2001
Like the other reviewer said, this movie doesn't present anything new. However it has good lighting and camera work, and is fun to watch in one of those afternoons you have nothing better to do.

The lead female actress portrays a much better role than her "sidekick" Luc. Brion James delivered a nice performance even if it was a tad short. The lead villain roles were well portrayed by the respective actors.

Philip Kimberly or Kim Philby?
14 April 2001
I had seen a documentary about espionage a couple of weeks before seeing this film on TV by chance and i found it simply amusing. The parallels between the film character Philip Kimberly and Kim Philby of real life are too many for this to be just a coincidence (not to mention the name of the film character which seems itself to be some anagram of Kim Philby).

All in all this is a nice film if you like espionage with a little comedy on the side. As for the comment of the other reviewer about the film being hard to follow: i didn't think it was THAT hard to follow. Besides, this being an espionage movie, if it wasn't a teensy bit hard to follow what would be the fun in it?

Worst camera work i have ever seen
7 April 2001
I know camera work isn't the most important thing on a motion picture but i care a whole lot about it. For me a movie with bad camera work reflects the disrespect the director has for the film itself. They could have least told the actors/cameramen some hints about how to use a camera.

I'm thinking of something positive to say about this film... Nope can't think of one.
