If you remain open-minded, it is actually entertaining movie. I'd rather watch this than some Indiana Jones movie rerun. I'd consider it 7 ½. It isn't good movie in sense that it would be an 8, but I would actually more than happily watch it again. And that is one of my key-criteria on what is 8. Just be open-minded, don't expect it to be remake of Elaine Paige's Cats (1998). If you view it as standalone film, it is solid way to entertain. Worth a watch, if you have otherwise nothing else to watch than some reruns. Yes it's badly made and doesn't honor the magnificent Cats-musical, but it still manages to entertain. And that's typically what you want from a movie.

Compelling movie, that enjoys good audio system. If you have AV-receiver and speakers, remember to turn those on for this. I really liked the movie experience. It's a bit dark in the tone, but not depressive at all. Target audience is probably relatively young. There's kind of young gangsta tone in it and it includes rapping.

I'd rate the movie at 7,5. Good audio. really impressive acting performance by Francesco Di Leva in the main role. Movie is interestingly different from others that I have seen. It really delivers new experience for the viewer. It looks and sounds good too. Ending was a bit more lame than it should have been. It could have been dramatized better. But I certainly recommend the movie. It's not among the best movies, but it is really good viewing experience. Made excellent movie night for me and utilized my audio setup nicely. This is exactly the kind of movie that I like to watch. It is proper experience both as a whole and with the audiovisuals, differs from others, entertains and brings you all sorts of feelings and thoughts.

Plot of the film is basically alternate version of the first season of the series. It has many same scenes but has changed the plot to build around the Ho-Oh encounter, which happened in series but in series that didn't affect Ash's journey. Many of the later scenes are still same ones from series, but just in different places since Ash is traveling with different goal and direction. His travelmates aren't Misty and Brock but instead Verity and Sorrel who are basically same characters but with different names and look. Bad as a movie but if you want to watch how it all started. I think it's better to watch this instead of season 1 of the series. If you are not looking for nostalgia, there are better movies.

Aquaman has all the generic features of films of its type. It has fully predictable plot, full of cliches and bad jokes that don't fit in. Acting is also situationally awkward and many things feel so forced that it is already cringey. However, soundtrack is good, visual image of the film is great and action flows at so high speed that your focus is granted and you keep watching the film. Good sounds with astonishing graphics are what make this film good to watch. Undersea world looks stunning and there are a lots of details. You always find some new cool details from the undersea world.

5/10 plot and dialogue 9/10 music and undersea world graphics Overall 7/10. Bad film that is very pleasant to watch. Usually 7s are just average. This movie has high highs and low lows which make it difficult to rate. But certainly recommended. Simply cause of stunning undersea world.
