I remember watching this movie when I was a kid and absolutely scared of Bakhtawar. Only in the end when he finds out that it was all the doings of the cop duo and he finally understands the whole game.

Imagine this being remade with modern 3 brother duo (on par with what Govinda, Rajnikant and Amitabh were back then) and a Danny level of Bakhtawar and Anupam and Annu kapoor equivalent.

Don't get me wrong, these actors cannot be matched but I am saying as a closest match.

Here are my suggestions-

Randeep Hudda or KK Mennon - Bakhtawar (Danny) Hritik/ Ajay /Akki/ John- Tiger (Amitabh) Ranveer Singh - Kumar (Rajnikant) Tiger Shroff or Kartik Aryan- Vijay (Govinda) I cannot think of casting for Annu Kapoor and Anupam's character.

But for Jumma's character please an early 2000s actress that suits the older actor. They are all in good shape.

Ok, the movie was good and I had to finish it even though I was getting extremely tired late in the night.

It is slooowwww burn with a lot of unnecessary details that could have been cut off.

Acting performance was good by everyone.

But what's up with the background music? It was good but it has way more character than the movie. They tried to scare you with the music because the movie itself wasn't scary.

Ok so there is a "miracle" child who is not eating for 4 months but in reality her mum has brainwashed her and been feeding her from her mouth like a bird to keep up with the "show".

And the reason the girl is apparently fasting because she is trying to save the soul of her brother who was sexually abusing her and had then died.

So clearly the parents here are the biggest monster and having their 9 year old go through this torture. This was the scariest part of the movie.

This is a Florence Pugh movie through and through. Actors die to get a role like this to sink in their teeth and steal the show. Good for her. The movie is good one time watch.

It's like the writers and KJO gathered a list of all social issues and stuffed them in the movie. Social commentary hai poori where is the romance though? Ameero ke issues is movie mein, and we are supposed to empathise? The girl is wearing Moschino, Gucci but cannot dare to talk to Father about doing business trading, wow kitna dukh hai uski life mein! Every character is painted in one stroke, no gradients, every character was written on one page, there is no arc. Everyone is portrayed black and white. Cheating is celebrated. Ufff so many issues.

Giving 3 stars- one for Shabana ji one for Jaya ji and one for clothes. Beautiful clothes (except for Ranveer's- his clothes are straight from gucci, versace, Givenchy's etc catalogue)

I watched it to catch the hype. Skipped all the songs coz none of them are good.

Ranveer and Alia are good actors but are fully cringe in this movie. Both are unbearable.

Movie is for youngsters, they will enjoy it. But anyone older will prob struggle to finish.

Movie paise to kama hi legi but please stop making movies like this.

K3G was so much better. At least usme characters mein emotion tha and one could relate, even if the world shown was unrealistic for a common person.

Part 1 was a predictable, slasher, hills have eyes inspired horror flick. Loved the slight sci fi element to it. But characters made such stupid decisions in it that it was rather irritating.

The second part definitely surprised me. The character development was so much better. Instead of your usual camp site horror it turned into a proper monster movie. Love the moon alien element to it. The 2 kids playing monsters did so well and I loved that whole character development. This part was way more comic than the first part.

Also the background score is very haunting and interesting and it stays with you.

I will recommend this movie and is something I can rewatch. First part, not so much.

Looking forward to the third movie if they stay within this sci-fi theme.

How badly are these characters written. Usually in Stephen King's stories, the characters have an arc and are smart. Here, every single character is as dumb as a dead log.

Let me give a few examples, the wardrobe door bangs open in the middle of the night, the little girl instead of screaming - daddy...., is checking under the bed and not a single peep from her.

Dad is reporting to the police about a creep in the house while facing the wall, why? Why wouldn't you keep an eye on the clinic just to make sure the guy doesn't move.

First day back to school, everyone wants to give condolences to her, yet she complaints that no one is interested in talking to her and are just staring.

Lady is about to burn her house down with a million candles instead of using light bulbs, flash light, opening the windows and doors.

The girl is advised to stay out of the dark and she goes into the basement with no light. And guess what, the light to the basement doesn't work. Cliché!!

Why does everyone in movies make out with the toilet. Why do they have to hug the whole seat while puking.

Why is dad missing from the whole movie.

Who does a therapy with a kid and then flicker the light to show there is nothing to be scared of.

Why no one turns the lights on in the house. My house literally has lights on all the time if you need to see.

Oh sigh! What a crap movie. Watch it if you want to yell at the tv.

As someone whose top fav genre is horror, and seen so many movies, there is very little something surprises me anymore. And this movie is the prime example of how to make a very very bad horror movie.

People need to take lessons from Haunting of hill house, conjuring, Midnight mass, bly manor, dark song, hereditary, midsummer, etc how to make a stand out horror movie that still surprises you.

First of, it is hard to feel any sympathy for Alison. She is such an entitled brat who thinks she is a saint. Second, her sister dealing with the post trauma is super annoying too. Like we get it you have had a tragedy, but please do not act like the world is your enemy. Telling her boyfriend that her pain is bigger than his and then slamming the door, yeah super nice. I stopped watching mid second episode, went and read the ending online and fast forwarded the last episode to finish. Absolutely annoying garbage. You can skip it. Or you can watch it if you have the patience for super annoying characters. Including Edwin. Only bearable character with depth was Gogo and he shows dimensions in his acting very early on.

Both main leads, the brother sister duo are the most irritating characters. The sister, gosh, what a loud and annoying character and the brother, as dull as a flat soda. The Alien hiding in the cloud was really good concept, but what the heck was the alien doing there? Go to New York to get a feed, why settling in for 3 people at a ranch? And the dude ended up blowing up anyway. Silly movie, and silly plot.

As a sci fi and horror fan, went in with a lot of expectations and was disappointed. They didint cover any back story of the alien, why it was alone there? Which planet did it come from? Oh well!....

Otherwise the movie is so predictable and barely has comedy and horror. Kartik did a good job. But everything else is so bad. I don't know how people are liking this.

Vidya actually looked scary in the Bhool Bhulaia part 1 but Tabu didn't even come near it despite of all the Aghori getup. Tabu did fantastic job, don't get me wrong, and she played evil very well, but still didn't come near Vidya in terms of scary.

Like literally annoying. People are dying around her and she is so monontoned. I was looking forward to her blasting in the end. He friend her boyfriend and the jock were good characters and needed more time. More the her and her existential Chris is. I fast forwarded a lot of her bits and finished the movie in 30 mins.

As a Horror genre fan who has seen pretty much all types of horror, the story is obvious. Yeah maybe not the parasitic twin, but a "wanting to be born" twin story. What I loved about this movie is the thrill, the the protagonist's acting. I also like some of the characters specially the sister. They didn't show too many dumb moments either, which the Horror movies rely on, there were some, but not too many. I enjoyed it. The cinematography was very artistic the colour palette was awesome. And again, wow the "scared" classic 50s 60s expressions from the main actress were very good. I also loved that he sprinkled comedy here and there, usually in horror directors are scared to add comedy to not to fade the stressful mood they have created, but this one does it very well. I will def add this to my recommendations list. Give it a go.

The first hour is like a typical 90s scifi disaster movie. Scene by scene. But then after an hour or so it starts to get better when the good action starts. The animation and certain gravity concepts were very good to watch. Pretty bad acting by most of the cast. Patrick did his best. John Bradley was the highlight for me and will love to see more of him in sci-fi. A lot of subplots were stolen from different sci-fi movies. There was a bit of Prometheus, the day the earth stood still, 2012, etc etc. Overall good movie to watch for actions if you can look past the cliches.

Love the movie, it is not going to work for general movie goers, or even sci fi lovers. This movie is for Wachowski's fans. I loved to see Neo and Trinity back and movie was a great fun ride. The romantic track was very believable. The storyline was good and action was good. Bug was a highlight for me. She did such a good job. I will revisit this movie, and am so glad it was made. This movie is for Matrix trilogy fans. Sucks Laurance was not there but we see a lot of him in "throwbacks". My rating will be 7.8 giving it 10 so it can get some boost in score, coz I want Matrix 5 to be made.

Love the diversity in ethnicity, cultures, and sexuality. I loved every character and supporting characters. Some characters outshined the others. I just loved how freeing the show felt. The sex scenes don't make you uncomfortable because they are liberating. It is not to sensationalise, but to invoke feelings. That being said, the action scenes with Sun were my favourite. She gotta be the best character in the show. Loved it. Wish they make season 3 sometime. Great concept. Great show. Well made. I wouldn't expect anything less from this crazy Matrix duo.

I wasn't aware of this case prior to watching this series, so I went in blind, and I was satisfied that it covered the story really well.

It was presented really well and touched the most important point of this case- mental illness and lack of its awareness and the taboo in our society.

As Barkha said- this needs to be normalised and talked about more. I contest.

What haunted me the most is was when Lalit is in Priyanka'a engagement and as they say he looks withdrawn and he is sleeping a lot, he probably is planning step by step the final moments of his and his family's. This is when he expedited the plan for the ritualistic suicide although many articles say as per diary entries he was planning this for last 5 years. To think that all 11 people, most of them adults, truly believed in his delusions and believed they will revive and come alive?

Although they couldn't decide if this was a murder or suicide. I will call It murder. Lalit slowly brainwashed his family, although he was sick himself, and then hung them and then hung himself. Wow. What a sad outcome and this is truly very disturbing case.

The 2 friends are so unprofessional and portrayed dumb. Flat jokes Or jokes related to sex. It's like Amy Schumer wrote the script.

I couldn't make it past 20 mins.

How can you take a subject of makeup, friendship and entrepreneurship - the 3 fun subjects, and poo all over it?

If I am giving any stars, they are only for Jake. Rest is crap. How is a cop so out of balance and emotional? How is no one reporting his erratic behaviour. He has yelled at 911 callers and also his colleagues and no one can figure he is losing control? How come a senior hasn't stepped in and took him out of the room and send him home. Or take him for a drive and get him to calm down. He is so impatient on the phone too, when he is on the phone when the cops find the baby boy dead he is literally like - what's going on what's going on, I am like hold Up dude let them figure it out first. I get it that they are showing a cop who used to be in the middle of action, has his hands are tied due to the job he is currently in, and he feels helpless and, he is frustrated; but he is so mono toned. Just emotional. Just angry and erratic.

Loved the biblical angle to the whole thing. Loved the characters of Father, Riley, Sarah, Mildred etc. Absolutely hated Bev, as it was meant to be, and Erin. What I don't like about Kate Sigel is she always acts as a b***h and the only arc she plays is of a tough, mean, emotionally constipated woman who I just never feel sorry for. Maybe it is her bad acting or just the way she likes to reflect her original persona but take Haunting of hill house or bly manor, she is just annoying in both and I just don't feel sorry for her. I felt more sorry for her sister in Bly manor than her. She is a super irritating character for me in this as well. Every other main character you feel sorry for, but not her.

5 stars only for Akshay he made the movie watchable. Sonakshi is so unnecessary. Wish they had taken a better actress. Sid did ok.

But for a thriller there are so many mistakes. To name a few-1. Akshay touching victim's shoe (evidence) without gloves to check for mud, 2. Why will there be mud on shoes, he could totally have driven into the building's under covered parking, especially if he was coming home. At least they could have clarified it that either they didn't have under covered parking or he was in a rush hence parked under the rain-mud. 3. All apparent murder scenarios happen with white vase, meaning finger print of either Sonakshi or Sid. How can they explain the finger print of lawyer be on it. Coz they also show lawyer using vase to hit Sid. 4. Why didn't they show that 2 blood DNA samples were found on the vase one of the victim, and one of Sid? Because according to Sid he was attacked by the lawyer.

So many holes. Rushed movie. Still like the original - Rajesh and Nanda. Akshay did fab, a believable cop and shows complex emotions very well. Only if Akshay was in Sid's place and maybe Tabu as Sonakshi and bring Naseer sab or another solid cop and this movie would have been something else.

Being a big horror buff I am used to of movies being pretty good with low rating, but not this one. When it started I was fully into it, and really was like- I don't get the low rating, until the last half hour! I literally started to hate the main character towards the end. Ridiculous decisions and super annoying. If you hate movies where main character is annoying, you won't like this. She literally got her friends in danger for her own selfish reasons and she is absolutely irritating towards the end. Idiotic decisions one after another and the big exorcism army is pretty useless. Great simulation concept but wasted due to bad character arc. And cliche horror/thriller movie mistake.

Also, did anyone else find her similar looking to Prometheus lady?
