Dangerous Lies (2020)
People are buzzing these days
So, lol... The first 5-10 minutes you'll think it's just another low budget film with badly paid actors that can't act for sh#t.. I watched this film from start to end and couldn't have been more wrong. Would I watch it again? Hell bloody no. Did I enjoy it? I couldn't have enjoyed it more unless I had Sasha Alexander with me in her sexy PJ's watching it with me (powerful woman).
In all seriousness, I found the acting good and the plot well thought out and unpredictable.
Also, I enjoyed seeing Ross and Monica's dad.
I don't quite understand the review's people have left. You've got a decent cast and a good plot with some good looking people to look at for 90 minutes or so lol.
I guess these days people want CGI and household names to be amazing... Or a politically correct story about someone's right to be a little sheep dog named Fred.
Good job all round for me and well worth a watch!
Mr Calzaghe (2015)
It's more then just boxing!
As a boxing fan you're only ever given what the media or ppv provider allow you to see. In modern times, social media as well. Mr Calzaghe gives an insight into the real hours that go into putting on a masterpiece of a boxing show. The grit, the doubt, the love and sacrifice by both boxer, trainer and family member. Seeing fights that I grew up on and that I anticipated and couldn't wait for, so many years later almost as a fly on the wall (or rope) shows you what boxing was and just how great these 2 were. These social media times we are living in almost casts a shadow over what fighters used to do, which was to fight each without any 'BS' to see who was the best. A must watch for any boxing fan of any age. Either to reminisce or to watch one of the greatest fighters in boxing history and the great Enzo Calzaghe that guided him and saw what nobody else could.
