You Won't Be Alone (2022)
Beautiful but not for everyone.
As an Eastern European, I became very attached to this film. There is something specific, beautiful and unique about folk from this part of the world. Great cast, scenery and atmosphere.
Dual (2022)
Why so many negative comments? I don't get it.
Movie is fine. Good script, good acting (amazing Karen). Not boring. What more could you possibly want? I don't know why this movie attracts so many haters.
The Nevers (2021)
Pilot was amazing.
Can't wait to see rest of the season to give it final score. It definitely got my attention. Sexy, brutal, wild ride.
P-Valley (2020)
One big objectification
Why are weak series praised by all media but the really good ones being destroyed by the media? Once again I fell for marketing and positive feedback. It's not a good show. As someone wrote here before. 90% of the show is sex and naked bodies. The rest is a plot, a rudimentary plot. It reminds me of an erotic movie in which everything revolves around sex while the plot is of secondary importance. I cannot believe that a series that objectifies the actors in such a vulgar way was produced by a well-known television.
Hightown (2020)
Seriously?
People give poor ratings just because there are lesbians on the show? Really? Are we going back to the Middle Ages? I really don't understand this stupid hate. Series is great to watch. Yes, this is not a masterpiece, but neither does it deserve such a hate. After 3 episodes I give a rating of 8/10. Let's see what will happen later.
White Lines (2020)
:(
This is a tragedy. I didn't expect much from the Netflix series, but even on Netflix standards this series is below expectations. What are all these explicit nudity scenes for? I do not understand. Why are there 10 episodes when the story is so simple and clichéd? Netflix should stop going on quantity, only on quality. I beg. I give it 3 stars only because of summer vibes.
The Other Lamb (2019)
Underrated title
I really don't understand why this movie has such a low rating. I really enjoyed it. It reminds me a little of "The Village" movie. It also reminds me a little of von Trier's work. It's really a piece of solid, dark cinema with controversial themes. Maybe this controversion is the reason why some people don't like this movie?
Freud (2020)
I expected disappointment
The series perfectly matched usual Netflix standards. Fictitiously weak, mediocre dialogues, the actors play like wood. Also, why is the male body in this series so objectified? Why so many scenes of full nudity? Has metoo not taught directors anything? In general, I noticed that German-speaking countries are obsessed with objectifying men. This is another series from that region, which is the same in terms of nudity. It scares away from this series. Let's respect men as much as women. I don't think anyone would want full frontal women in every episode of Freud? So why are you doing this to men?
