Doctor Who (2023)
N'CUTIE Gatwa!
Okay, yes he's handsome and that will go a long way...hopefully. He has a Tennant-like charisma with a great smile (is that why Doctor/Tennant originally checked his teeth?) I actually enjoyed Whittaker's Doctor, but she had the misplaced fortune of being Chibnall & Co's test run. Shame on them.
I can see this Doctor going a significant distance, and should be thankful for the captain at the helm this go around. It would be great if the battles could be analogous to many of THIS era's concerns, just as orevious story arcs.
BTW, am I one of the first who thinks there's a connection between Pond, River...and Flood?
From (2022)
I enjoy this way too much...
...because it allows the imagination to run wild. My latest theory is that, failing to completely assimilate the Earth (i.e. First Conact), a few borg, after the borg sphere was destroyed, were able to splinter into an alternative time-line. Cut off from the collective, the drones are attempting to co tinue their primary directive, and are attempting to assimilate those "caught in the immediate temporal incongruity" until reestablished communication with unimatrix 001.
Not knowing how to properly assimilate, they are improvising their protocol, utilizing broken commands from a matrix that is no longer sending information.
The Other Lamb (2019)
A perfect movie...for those who care to pay attention.
Yes, it's a slow burn drama...and the horror is, well, let's just say, horrific on a REAL level...
...BUT, it's an intelligent movie, and requires some patience. If I may give away a thing or two...despite it's darker subject, you'll not hate it.
