I love Superman. Every version. I'll defend Superman 4 if you want? But this is the definitive version. The version I've always dreamed of seeing - the version I'd write if I could have. Challenging, thought-provoking, insightful. Not there to be a poster child, but rather to be an inspiration. Inspiration comes through internal struggle and strife, not through BANG BANG, POW POW. I wish DC had more faith in this storyline - cause it was clearly going somewhere wonderful. #ReleaseTheSnyderCut.

Challenging film, not for the weak at heart. Best CBM I've ever seen. This is why I'm into comics in the first place - to challenge you, to develop big ideas and push the boundaries of our understanding. Action and witty one-liners are secondary to that. #ReleaseTheSnyderCut

It's B-Sci-Fi. Wish the CW would give it a bigger budget, as clearly the writers have some imagination and intelligence. There's possibilities here. Take Star Trek Season 3 - divide the budget by four - and you'll have this show. But, there's thought and investment in the characters and storylines - which means it's worth your time. Interesting concepts and solid world building - but it definitely needs more focus. It's finding itself, so I'll give the new season a watch too. You won't regret giving it your time, and may find yourself really enjoying it as time goes on.
