Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! (1987 Video Game)
8/10
After 11 years, I played it in 2001 - it still had the same effect - awesome!
8 January 2002
I played this game so many times that after 11 years, I still remember the moves and secrets - I surprised myself. This is the lasting effect of a wonderful game.

This is a classic video game and I hope that the newer video game systems have made an archive CD/cartridge that contains this game.

I'm sure that it brings back memories (good or bad) for the former Champ. Mike - brilliant game!

Good Advice (2001)

A nice Sunday afternoon movie.
17 December 2001
I was pleased with the ending. This is good movie to watch when you just want to kick back and relax and watch a decent movie.

The secretary added a lot of humour to the film. Charlie Sheen's character showed that men can be caring and understanding. That lovely editor in the movie showed that successful and intelligent women can be caring and forgiving. (big stress on the forgiving).

Body Shots (1999)

I thought about this movie for a whole day and discussed it with a lot of my female friends
17 December 2001
This movie is an eye opener of what can go wrong on a date.

I believed Tara Reid's character first and then Jerry O'Connel's character, then eventually, I didn't know who to believe. I was shocked when both realized that they had blacked out and agreed to lie.

I would only watch this movie with close female friends - it has a lot of controversial issues that would make people want to argue; or just be withdrawn or very careful about dating.

This movie showed me that not only drinking and driving can take away someone's life.

Witchblade (2001–2002)
Very interesting and unique series
16 December 2001
I spent a whole Sunday watching a special on this series and the movie that started it. The witchblade (and most definitely the holder) is the unique gift/power and that made this series a hit to me. Even though it took me one day to watch it all, I am sure that it would have kept me in suspense if I had watched it on a weekly basis.

Unique gifts/powers/plots and good actors/actresses are what makes a SciFi series. In my opinion, Witchblade made it.

Well done to the actors and crew!

X-Men (2000)

The movie lived up to comic book legacy
16 December 2001
I was happy to see that Wolverine talked less and slashed more - a welcomed change from the 1990s cartoon series.

Halle Berry was good as Storm, however, I was dissapointed that more of her power wasn't used in the movie.

Casting Patrick Stewart for the role of Prof X was a good choice. Come to think about it, I can't picture anyone else playing that role.

I look forward to seeing the sequel especially when I saw Rogue and the 'soon to be' iceman chap.

One more thing - Mystique was brilliant in her fighting scenes.

Well done!

A touching movie with a wonderful theme song (Smoke gets in your eyes)
16 December 2001
After watching this movie, I searched all over for the details of a song which I later found it's title to be - smoke gets in your eyes.

This movie is very touching and sad at the same time. I have watched it over again it has the same effect.

I consider this movie to be a classic one with a special message - Love never dies.
