Inu ni Nattara Suki na Hito ni Hirowareta. (2023)
pure comedic gold
The show's premise is plain and simply absurd, and the anime takes itself as seriously as the manga. Yes, that means watching a 100% sincere story about teenage girls' doing a borderline sexual act on a boy who got turned into a dog. The animation is decent, if I'm being generous, and a plot that is equally crazy that I doubt will ever be explored in the anime. The character is simple tropes that could be described in one or two words. To me, that's what makes it so good to me the unapologetic hornyness of the anime is hilarious. My roommates and I are watching the whole thing together, just dying of laughter at the anime. Ignore the plot, characters, etc. I understand if your moral or ethically concerns stop you from enjoying the anime, but the fact something like this exists is funny in itself to me at least.
One Piece Film: Red (2022)
I never knew I could miss something so much so soon
I walked to the movie expect some crazy action which I did get but not in the way thought I would. At first I was somewhat disappointed the the movies would have a large amount of musical scenes. I was a fool to think so from the first song alone any doubt was remove from mind and I just like the moment take me. The animation and music were absolute masterclass level throughout the movie. At this point, I don't believe there is limit to how incredible the either medium can be. I'm not being hyperbolic either with my description of the music as. The main theme of the movie 'New Genesis' was the number one song in the world topping both Beyoncé and DJ Khalid. I drove home in silence to keep the memories of how good those theater speakers sounded in my mind as fresh as possible.
