I miracoli accadono ancora (1974)
Fantastic movie!!!!!!!
I have seen "Miracles Still Happen" now at least four times. I never tire of this fantastic movie. From the very beginning, it holds a person's interest. As the movie progresses and the plane crashes the story becomes very intense as we watch this young girl trying to survive alone and frightened in the Amazon, following a plane crash in which she was the only survivor. Losing her mother in this plane crash as well makes this movie even more dramatic as we see the perils this young girl had to endure during her ten days in the Amazon. To think this really did happen is just unreal and to think that anyone could actualy survive this is unspeakable as we see the wild animals, snakes and other reptiles, the enormous forests and wildlife as well as countless insects. As the movie progresses we see the many dangers this girl has to face as she tries to follow the river in hopes of it leading her to a town. Remembering what her father told her about how a stream will always lead to a river and then into an even larger river and this means it will eventually lead to a community, this young girl keep track of the tiny stream which eventually lead into a huge river all throughout the movie. At times having to swim in dangerous waters, alone, frightened, injured, she always managed to keep going. Towards the end of this movie it was obvious she would not have been able to continue much longer as she had not eaten in ten days and only had water to drink and was very sick and tired from her perils. Eventually as she sees a canoe, she realizes there has to be a village and men find her and they take care of her and then take her to a hospital where her father comes to see her, after fearing she was dead along with the many other passengers. Such a dramatic movie and so heartwarming to see her father's face when he sees his daughter is actually still alive after all this time in the Amazon! Movies like this aren't made much those days. I will still see it again and I know I will never tire of it! To think this girl was the only one single survivor of this airplane is just unspeakable! Also the fact she only maintained a few very slight injuries was even more remarkable, whereas everyone else on this airplane perished in the horrific crash into the wilds of the Amazon. A brilliant movie, superbly acted out indeed and one I will treasure forever and love to continue watching! Strongly recommended by me for sure!
Sweatin' to the Oldies 2 (1990)
Richard Simmons really keeps me motivated, what a personality!
I have "Sweatin To The Oldies 2 " and it's great! Richard's upbeat, fun personality really shows itself right through this fantastic workout tape. Just when I felt like giving up, Richard is there inspiring me to keep it up...." you can do it", he says or "just a couple more"!!!! Richard is very professional and really knows what he is doing and he takes great pride in his videos and he should. I use them daily and I love the time I spend exercising with Richard! The music is great and Richard really does some job in co-ordinating the music to the moves. He really has it down to perfection! I find the hour goes like five minutes and instead of dreading to exercise I find myself looking forward to putting the video in the vcr and I see Richards happy face and I feel so much more re-assured that....yes I CAN do it as Richard says. Richard is the best and his videos are all great, great motivation, lots of inspiration, lots of love he shows for his fans and he is a man who has been there and knows what it's like and how hard it is to even try to lose weight. I strongly recommend this video to anyone. I also have "Sweatin To The Oldies 3" and that's great also and Richard is his usual upbeat self. What a guy! You got to love Richard Simmons. He is a great person. He shows you the meaning of "Never Give UP'and because of Richard Simmons I feel so much better about myself. I will continue using the videos I have with Richard and I am having great success with them. I tried to a long while to lose weight and only for Richard Simmons I would still be complaining about how I cannot lose it! Richard is the best motivator in the world for getting you going and believing in yourself! Thanks so much Richard! I love you for yourself, a wonderful human being, a true gentleman and a great friend! Keep up the great work my friend!!!!!!!!!!
The Inner Circle (1991)
What a lame movie!!!!!!!!!
This has to be the most boring movie I ever sat through. It is dreary and drab, has no excitement, the acting by Hulce is terrible as Hulce cannot pull off the proper accent required for this film. The story is stupid and I sure wouldn't recommend this crap for anyone unless you want to die of boredom.

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)
Elijah Wood carries Lord Of The Rings to an art of perfection!
I have just seen the Lord Of The Rings, The Fellowship Of The Ring, the second time in the past two days. This is the best movie I have seen in many years. In fact it might be the best movie I have ever seen. This movie is indeed a masterpiece. The acting is superb. Elijah Wood is so realistic as Frodo Baggins it is unreal. Elijah Wood's professional acting comes across very much to show the true expert that he is. His expression in his eyes in the scenes is more than words could do to show the feelings he is expressing. His eyes tell the torment and suffering that Frodo is suffering as well as the happiness Frodo feels at the beginning of the movie when he sees Gandalf. What a talented young man! Sir Ian McKellan is likewise extremely realistic as Galdalf. I love the look of love and kindness in Gandalf's eyes and he talks to Frodo in this brilliant movie. The roles of Aragorn (Viggo Mortenson) and of Bilbo (Ian Holm) are equally good as well as the hobbits. Gimli (John Rhys Davies) is really good in his very aggressive character he portrays. Saruman ( Christopher Lee) is really good in this movie. All actors in this movie are extremely professional. The direction is superb as sets, costumes, makeup, editing and music are the best anyone could imagine or more! Sean Bean was wonderful in his role as Boromier also. What I also love about this movie is the fact that the manner in which it is directed is fantastic for anyone, including for those who have not read the Lord Of The Rings books. The scenery and sets are breathtaking and so real looking. The fighting scenes are very exciting and look so real as well. This movie is well worth seeing several times and indeed is worthy of many Oscars in my opinion. Elijah Wood carries this movie along expertly and in my opinion no one else could carry off the role of Frodo Baggins as well as Elijah Wood. I would give this movie a ten plus rating and strongly recommend everyone see it. Beautifully written, expertly acted out with an all star cast and still this movie remains true to the book! Perfect and realistic sets, music and as well. You add all this up and you have the best movie I have seen in many years. This movie was well worth waiting for and I sure will be back next year to see "The Two Towers". What a work of art and a truly perfect masterpiece!
Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1994)
Hulce's terrible fake accent was a joke!
Tom Hulce's fake English accent for this movie was nothing but a joke! This man cannot do any kind of an accent and I wish he would stop trying! Hopeless indeed, extremely fake and his acting added nothing to this movie! Every time I have to suffer through watching this stupid movie I almost get sick listening to Hulce's fake English accent.
Black Rainbow (1989)
A terrible movie indeed!
This movie has to be the worst movie I have ever suffered through! The storyline was hopeless, the accent of Hulce's was nothing but a joke and I would not watch this movie again for a million dollars. If this is the only kind of a moive Hulce can make I can see why he has given up acting!
Pearl Harbor (2001)
The best movie I have seen!!!!!!!!!
Pearl Harbor has to be the very best movie I have seen in many years. I cannot understand why this movie has been bashed so much. The plot was excellent and the acting on the part of Ben Affleck and Josh Hartnett was superb and so superb that in my opinion Josh Hartnett deserves to be nominated for an Oscar for this movie. From the very beginning right up until the end, this movie held my attention. There wasn't one boring scene. Never in my life have I seen a movie so well acted out and true to real life! The time flew while watching this movie and not an empty seat was in the theater. This is a great story with great acting, directing, special effects, sound, score and fantastic cinematography that would take your breath away. I strongly recommend everyone go and see this fantastic movie. I know for a fact I will be going to see it again and I certainly will be getting it when it comes out on video. I wish more movies like this were made these days!
