The finest Ecological film I have ever seen.
5 June 2001
There is no film quite so man-humbling as "Survival of Spaceship Earth," produced for the first ever United Nations Conference on the Human Environment. Director/writer Dirk Summers has created an astonishing film that, even today, must still be the most significant Environmental Documentary ever produced. It should be on the "must see" list for anyone who cares about planet Earth. The New York Times said of this landmark film, "If brains are washed theatrically, we call it propaganda ("JFK"). If minds are cleared of painful debris, we begin to recognize art. "Survival of Spaceship Earth" is art."

This amazing film shows what we must do to be Energy Independent.
5 June 2001
This outstanding film details the Energy problems facing Mankind--- and their solutions-- and it did so in 1980. It is truly remarkable to view the "paths not taken" by the U.S. government and others, twenty plus years ago. "Harnessing The Sun" is more timely today than when it was first released. It should be required viewing for every American and people everywhere. The solutions and answers to our current Energy Crisis are easily available, but as with most everything in life, it requires knowledge and an understanding of the problem and how we 'got there.' "Harnessing The Sun" says and shows it all, beautifully.
