Grantchester (2014–2025)

The wife and I really enjoyed this series and hated to see it come to an end. This is the way TV should be done where the writers actually put some effort into their work. This being a British show we were not familiar with the actors but not to worry the whole cast grows on you quickly. Give this series a try and I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as we did. I don't want to spoil it for anyone but when they did away with the main character in the 4th show the wife and I wonders where the story is going now but don't worry it only gets better.

Funny thing is you looking at a rather small English village with an a lot of deaths seems someone would say something about this. Seriously it's is a wonderful series so give it a try.

Interceptor (2022)

Not Bad

This movie won't win any awards but if you watched all the A List movies and you want to watch a fun movie, this is the one. My wife and I watched it and we enjoyed it. The movie has a good plot and the action is pretty good. I wish I could say the acting was good but I would be telling a lie. The bad guy ( Luke Bracey) did the best acting out of whole bunch. So if you can't a Blockbuster movie just pop up some popcorn get the wife and kids and enjoy a fun B- Movie.

The Tender Bar (2021)

Wonderful Movie

My wife and I really enjoyed this movie and we gave it two thumbs up. It's nice to watch a movie with maybe a few bad words but nothing to run the kids out of the room for. I'm not a Big Ben Affleck fan but he was just delightful in this movie actually the whole cast was delightful.

So if your looking for a good decent movie this is the one to watch.

The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two (2020)

Although my wife and I enjoyed this movie it was not as good as the first. That being said this was still a very good movie and Kurt Russell makes an excellent Santa and Goldie was great as Mrs. Clause. I hope they make a Part 3

A Good Movie

I just happened to come across this movie by accident and I'm glad I found it. The wife and I both really enjoyed it. It was a light hearted and fun. It was a movie the entire family could enjoy. I could not wait for the showdown that you knew was coming at the end. Overall the wife and I gave it two thumbs up. A very enjoyable movie.

Messiah (2020)

Great Story

My wife and I really enjoyed this movie. Hahaha we're trying not to binge watch it but to make it last. This was a well made movie and it keeps you thinking, could he be..... or is he a ..... you're rust not sure. The cast is not a big named group. Some people I've never seen and a few I've seen here and there but in this movie they all did a great job. So me and the wife give this movie two thumbs up 👍👍

A Touching Movie

This movie was so much more than I thought it would be. Tom Hanks is Wonderful as always. But I was surprised at how good Matthew Rhys was. This is the first time I've really watched him in a movie and he did an excellent job. This is not a happy movie nor is it all about Mr Rodgers. I'm not really sure how much of this really happened but it's touches the heart and makes you feel something. Go watch it.

Angel Has Fallen (2019)

Still a Good Series

My wife and I just finished this movie and gotta say we really enjoyed it. Although Butler and Freeman are both getting along in years they still pulled the movie off. I have to say I was surprised by Jada Pickett Smiths part. We thought for sure she would be a strong female character but they could have put an extra in her place and it would have have made no difference in the movie. Overall it was an enjoyable movie and we give it a thumbs up.

Great series! This is how hero's really are. You can't tell me that people with God like powers are pure as the driven snow....nope. They are going to be as screwed up as much as the hero's in this show. I can't wait to see what Billy and Hughie are going to do in the second season and what Homelanders secret is.

A Interesting Show

My wife and I really enjoyed this show. You could not have ask for a better cast and after the first show you will be hooked. We have watched the first season and started on the second and there has not been a boring show. Please don't be one of those idiots that rate the show a one or two stars because they paid for the second season and there is only three shows in the season. As the shows are done they will add them so we can watch. Give this show a chance I think you will really enjoy it.

Wonderful Show

My wife and are very late watching this show because well to be truthful I dislike British shows but I saw so many positive reviews I mentioned to the wife we could watch two chapters and if we don't care for it we'll stop. Hahahahaha after two shows we could not stop watching. You just get caught up in their lives and it's interesting from the the top man to the lowest serving girl. My wife and I were so sad after the last show, not because the show was sad but because we wanted it to go on. Give this show a go and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019)

A Good Movie

My wife and I watched this today and I was worried because of some things that I read. The critics are full of crap. It wasn't just monsters fighting for the entire movie. It had a good plot and I really liked the Actors. I also have to say the CGI is finally at a point that they can make a good Godzilla movie. This one was nothing like the the first Godzilla movie I watched in the 50's where that Japanese fellow was running around in that suit. The CGI was great, all the monsters looked amazing. If you grew up enjoying Godzilla and getting goosebumps when Godzilla roared then you need to see this movie.

Ocean's Eight (2018)

My wife and I watched this the other night because we didn't have any thing else to watch. We found out that this movie was better than most of the other Ocean movies and We say most because after Ocean 23 we decided not to watch the others. The cast was great and the plot was so-so till towards the end then it really got crazy did not see it coming. Don't wait, give it a try

The Professor and the Madman (2019)

This was a very good and interesting movie. Sean Penn and Mel Gibson was just amazing in this movie. I heard of the movie a while back and thought it was a ridiculous idea. How in the heck can you make an interesting movie about a dictionary? Well they did it. My wife and I both was amazed at the acting that Mr Penn did. At the end of the movie my wife and I looked at each other and said "Wow" LoL Not a car chase nor guns or bombs going off and I still enjoyed the heck out of this movie. My wife and give it 👍👍

UFO (2018)

Good Story

I normally do not watch UFO films because if you see one the rest are pretty much all the same. Something about this one caught my attention. As soon as it started you could tell it wasn't a big budget movie but it also wasn't one of those cheap documentaries on UFO'S. The movie was well done and it keeps your attention throughout the entire movie. I liked that David Strathairn didn't play a bad guy as he does in a lot of his movies. I also don't usually write reviews but I wanted to let whoever reads this an is considering watching this movie based on reviews that is really worth watching. A good story, and a good cast, who could want more in a movie. 👍👍

The Kominsky Method (2018–2021)

Funny Show

My wife and I just finished watching this series tonight and I have to say we thought it was a great show. It was nice to have a show with actors that was around our age and actors we knew when we saw them. My wife and I are in our mid 60's so actually they were a little older than us. It was nice to see a friendship coming closer together after a hard event ( I don't want to give anything away in case you didn't see the show yet). I just hope there is a second season. My wife and I give it two thumbs up.

My wife and I just finished watching watching this movie and we both really enjoyed it. My wife is Asian so we watch a lot of Asian TV and movies. But it's nice to see an big budget movie that everyone enjoyed. Hopefully there will be more in the future. My wife and I give this movie Two Thumbs Up.

My wife and I watch a lot of Korean movies ( her being Korean and all) and I really enjoy the romantic comedies. I don't enjoy the period movies or shows unless there is a lot of sword play and material arts in it BUT! Even I enjoyed this movie. The Characters/Actors were perfect and it was an amazing story. Give this movie a try, though it's not a romantic comedy it is a great movie.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017–2023)

Damn Good Show

I put off watching this show for a while now, I thought that there was no way this could be good. I Loved this show! I had two days off and I watched the whole first season. It all just clicked, the cast was just first rate, the time period they picked to make the show about, the music playing in the background, it just worked. It's been a while since I've enjoyed a show so much. If you enjoy funny, witty, nostalgic, TV you will enjoy this show. I can't wait for a second season. Watch this and tell your friends, they will thank you.
