The Matrix Reloaded (2003)
HORRIBLE organization
The Matrix Reloaded starts off by giving us a half-hour of seemingly random scenes and dialogues. It was all a confusing mess. There was some of the worst editing I have ever seen in all the scenes that took place in Zion. I did, however think that the set design for Zion was very cool, with the exception of the dancing cave(shudders). The BS philosophical discussions get SO obnoxious after a while, they sound like the the things people from my high school talk about. The fight scene with the 100 Smiths was cool, but I could easily tell the difference between when they were using live shots of Keanu and when they were using a CG Keanu. That was distracting. The car chase scene was INCREDIBLE, especially when the two semis hit head-on and you could see the viscousness of the flames erupting from the explosion. The freeway scene was frought with violent, almost pornographic car crashes, which were all awesome. I also thought that the spiraling trail of cars behind Neo when he was flying in the city was neat. Then back to the incoherent editing. It was never clearly explained what was on that particular floor(63rd?) of the skyscraper, or what exactly the keymaker is doing. Action scenes: 9/10 Rest of movie: 6/10
Just Shoot Me! (1997)
One of better shows on tv.
I think JSM is one of the best sitcoms on tv. Finch and Kevin by far the funniest characters on the show. My least favorite character is Maya. She is by no means funny and brings nothing to the show, even though she is supposed to the basis for the show. I like when Finch makes fun of Elliot's photography, because I think photography requires little if no talent, and also when Finch talks passionately about cats. Nina is also very funny as a burnt-out airhead model. Overall really funny.
The Man Show (1999)
Very funny show
I find almost all parts of The Man Show pretty funny, especially the experiments in the real world (Putting a 20 dollar bill in an unflushed toilet, ect.) and the Man Show Boy, who is about 10 and is put outside a liquor store to see if anyone would buy him beer. All of the comedy is very funny, but the "Juggies", In my opinion, seem to degrade women a great deal. All in all, a VERY funny show, especially if you're a man.
Dumb and Dumber (1994)
One of the funniest films ever.
I have seen this movie more than a dozen times, and still I laugh as hard as I did the first time I saw it. Lloyd Christmas'(Carrey) dream sequence to me is the funniest scene that I have ever seen. Although I'm not a fan of Carrey's, I found him to be hilarious throughout, my favorite line being "I like it a lot". Even if you are not a fan of Carrey's, like me, you will still find him and Jeff Daniels to be a hilarious duo and save the film from a weak supporting cast.
9.5/10
