Veneno (2020)
Showstopper
Not only is the cast and acting incredible, so is the storytelling, the editing, the music. And allround beautiful story about what it takes and means to live in your truth. The world has gotten lots better but there's much to improve this. This series is a reminder of the hardship our trans siblings had to go through. But also the joy, friendship and love they experienced. I can't remember the last time I've cried this much. Inspirational wouldn't even come close to how grateful I feel watching this. It'll forever inspire my own transition and when I lack strength I'll think back of Cristina and her fire. For any trans person reading this, you are worthy of love. You deserve a good life. And you deserve whatever it takes so you can be most authentically yourself. And if you have a hard time finding that love in yourself, please read this message. And know that someone across the world will love you for you.

Cathartic
As a trans person I felt physical cathartic release. To see trans joy and love celebrated on such a big platform feels not only transformative but confirming. I couldn't stop crying with the beauty of this episode and mind you I never write reviews on IMDb. The dialogue and acting was exceptional this episode and I would be surprised if this final season doesn't get multiple awards especially our leading legendary ladies. This show is about hope and I wish all the actors a very fruitful future within their personal lives and their careers. May this show be the signifier of change in how we tell queer, trans and poc stories. As it has forever changed this trans woman and her self perception.
