Tales of the Walking Dead: Blair/Gina (2022)
Hmm...What ?
What did happen in this episode ? Time loop in TWD universe ? How ? Why ?
At first glance this sounds horrendous, especially at the beginning of the outbreak , but it can turn into something interesting if it's properly developed alongside the new mutations of the zombies. I admit, despite the wtf impression left by this episode , I'm a bit excited for the TWD future.
Tales of the Walking Dead: Evie/Joe (2022)
Worth it
I only watched the first episode yet. I enjoyed the actors and their characters. The story was acceptable and the ending felt wholesome.
A good start to a new series in TWD Universe.
The Orville: Future Unknown (2022)
Almost perfect season except for the 2nd episode
*** Subjective opinion ***
I enjoyed this season very much with the exception of the 2nd one. The rest of the episodes in this season have been beautifully written so much so that each part made me nostalgic of Star Trek's golden era.
I enjoyed every moment, every song and every second of them. It really made me feel warm inside and I'm grateful for that to all of the cast and stuff for making this show and season possible. I thank you for this.
Although I heard it's very possible that it will the last season I can't help but to hold on to a small shred of hope that I will continue to watch them inspiring me as they will go on with their adventures.
In these final moments, something someone once wrote comes to mind : " The story continues, the story never ends ".
Dou Luo Da Lu (2021)
Needs season 2
I LOVE IT ! I love the show, I love the plot, the actors, the characters, the action , the dialogue, the vfx effects, the humour. I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT and it NEEDS A SEASON 2 at least.
Rarely I love a show so much as this one.
The Orville: Mortality Paradox (2022)
Brilliant
This episode is absolutely brilliantly written and done. Top quality on par with the golden era of Star Trek. Won't spoil it for you and I wholeheartedly recommend it as it is a must see !
The Orville: Shadow Realms (2022)
The worst episode of any Sci-Fi show I've ever seen
All was nice before they got to that station, after that it fell rapidly down the hole.
Basically an admiral , a captain, a first officer, chief of security , chief engineer, chief doctor enter an unexplored alien space station without any protection (space suits) despite being warned before that because why the hell not ? What could go wrong ?
Aliens ? Nah, they're not there man.
Traps ? Nah.
Oxygen ? Check.
Viruses and harmful pathogens ? No sir, everyone knows they aren't real therefore they can't harm us. #Fake
Everyone acts like Dora the Explorer and the admiral out of them all play " look at me mf " whilst not taking any security precautions because safety is for cadets.
Surprise surprise, he gets infected by some pathogen. What a twist ! #Shocked.
But wait, there's more !
They take him to the med bay to connect the dots figuring what happened to him. After he starts to physically transform, no one takes any security precautions for the safety of the crew because once again safety is for the cadets and they're professionals. I mean he's just a human turning into a member of an unknown species, surely he won't be violent. The worst he could do is ask us about our ship extended warranty.
Another mind-blowing twist, he runs away and starts infecting some of the crew. What ? How dare he ? Oh well....
Almost the entire crew mysteriously disappears, most of the main characters walk around the ship without encountering any of the creatures because that's what heroes do in a BiG ship.
Now the best part. They let these creatures go, because why not ? Alien life matters too, right ? So what if they were human before that, had families, were transformed against their will, none of that is important because #ViolentAlienLivesMatter and the chief medical of the flagship can't do anything beyond personal drama. #RipLogic
Now I've enjoyed The Orville until now, but this episode is the stupidest thing I've seen this year. The disappointment level is surprising even for me.
Do yourself a favour and don't watch it.
Halo: Allegiance (2022)
Bad Jimmy BAD !!!
You were supposed to destroy the Covenant not fornicate, much less with them ! You were our Hero, Jimmy ! We loved you , dammit !
This ain't Halo that's for sure. Plot is dragged by a snail and a drunk one too. Characters are there just to be there except for Halsey's (She must have horrible back pain for all of this carrying ). Same for the dialogue. I could rant and rant about it more but I'm sure you can figure it out for yourself if you've managed to get this far.
Now for the business at hand. What I want for season 2 : For John and Halsey to have passionate intimate intercourse. You know what I mean. Make it happen.
The Wheel of Time (2021)
Awesome
I'm a stranger to this particular universe ,but I love every minute of what I'm seeing so far. So much that I managed to get all 15 books by Brandon Sanderson. I can't wait to see more episodes of this amazing tv show. Please don't cancel it.
Star Trek: Discovery: Kobayashi Maru (2021)
Burnham acts like an amateur
Sadly 1 star is the lowest rating I can give...
I only watched the first 5 minutes of this episode and it was enough to steer me away forever from this parody show. I say it's a parody because I can't take it seriously.
Michael Burnham, aka the amateur captain ,the one who has been tutored by Sarek himself acts like she hasn't been in Starfleet before...hell,like she hasn't even heard of it.
The way Burnham and that man (I'll give him a pass since he hasn't met the real Federation before and he isn't familiar with Starfleet protocols and whatnot) handled that species in the beginning was the most unprofessional thing I've ever seen in my life. Not even a true ensign would act so irresponsible. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE !!!
The last season was a let down but this is far worse.
My advice? Don't waste your time ,don't watch it. Spend your time with your family instead.
Legacies: See You on the Other Side (2021)
Beautifully done but...
I loved the previous episode and this one. Fantastically done. Although I'm a bit confused as to why does she have so few and small "supernatural" fangs. Klaus had 4 in the upper part ,Marcel after his transformation had 6 (4 facing down and 2 facing up ) and now the infamous tribrid has the normal vampire teeth only the small version ? That doesn't seem right...
I may be in error because her lower part of the mouth wasn't entirely seen yet,but it's not looking well so far.
Fate: The Winx Saga (2021)
NEED MORE EPISODES (huge fan)
First of all,I wanna start by writing that I'm a huge fan of the winx club cartoons including the spin-offs.
Second, I was skeptical about this tv show because of all the differences between it and the cartoons, but I was pleasantly surprised. It literally rocked my world, wanting for more.
Thirdly, I've always wanted a darker version of the winx with more serious concepts, action ,gore, story, etc. and this tv show has it all.Including a clever made dialogue between characters.Simply brilliant.Keep them episodes coming.
Fourthly,it's worth it. Every second of it.The only downside I see is the low number of episodes from the first season and not the differences between this show and the cartoons. Why ? Because I already have the cartoons with their own story told in their own way and this show takes a different approach to the story.Think of it as a darker parallel universe.
Buttom line,I want as many seasons as possible.
Supernatural: Carry On (2020)
Fantastic and fitting end for the boys
I was skeptical at first,I imagined it would've been bad but to my surprise it turned out better than I've hoped.
Dean like he kept saying that he'll go down swinging,Sam got his life that he wanted,the song Carry on my Wayward son it fitted like a glove,the change of heaven,and the final scene breaking the 4th wall,all A M A Z I N G and quite E M O T I O N A L.
I want to thank SPN cast and crew for this amazing show and amazing ending. Thank you for 15 fantastic seasons.
(Reader, ignore the drama queens saying that it was bad )
Love and Monsters (2020)
Fantastic
I was a bit hesitant at first but it turned out to be amazing.Far better than what I've seen in a while. Fantastic movie with an top notch combo of action and movie.Dylan being Dylan performed wonderfully and I'm looking forward to more sequels.
The 100: Blood Giant (2020)
Absolutely Amazing
Don't listen to all these cry babies with 1/10 review over a character's death. This ain't disney, grow the hell up.
Yes it was tragic, but that happens in tv shows especially dark ones as this one.
