Road Trip Hostage (2023 TV Movie)
2/10
Frustrating.

Warning: Spoilers
I have never been in this situation before....but there were many times she could have ran. It's a knife, not a gun. I know she's supposed to be scared and of course, you would be in a real life scenario...but she was not helpless. He had his back turned to her a few times.

Also, the woman working at the front desk at the motel...why would you stand in front of the car calling to report a domestic violence situation? He's going to try to run you over. I get it's a movie, but come on. The actors were okay though.

Anyway. It gets a 2 star rating because it was something to watch on a Saturday night.

The Wrong Cheerleader Coach (2020 TV Movie)
2/10
Ugh.

Why was this girl so drawn to the father? He was nothing special. Just so random.

Also, the guy that plays the father....WHAT IS UP WITH THS GLASSES? So irritating! Why didn't anyone point this out when filming? Next time think about your audience and how things like that would make them anxious, distracted and annoyed.

I love Vivica as an actress, she is talented and steals every scene, in a good way. However, these lifetime movies about the wrong this and that are so terrible.

His Fatal Fixation (2020 TV Movie)
5/10
It tries to be different but it's just predictable

Warning: Spoilers
I always fall into the trap of watching Lifetime movies and it's pathetic on my part. I'll still watch though lol

Anyway, it's not the worst movie, it's interesting, but predictable. Here's another warning for spoilers here...though you might guess some of these things anyway! Lily aka Stella is a stalking victim. Moves to a new place, works for a doctor's office, plastic surgery related. There's a patient that comes in, his face and head covered in bandages and I knew right away it was her stalker. They focus on him quite a bit. Then people start getting hurt/killed. The doctor gets suspicious of Stella/Lily. She admits she has a stalker and her real name is Lily and she takes medication for PTSD. Then you see the doctor on the phone with her therapist and her therapist is giving him information on her and warns him to be careful as she might have dissociative disorder. Um, what? Lifetime gets me sometimes with the plot holes.....that therapist could be sued for violating HIPAA, just giving some guy over the phone her information WHILE she also has a stalker out there. Again...not the worst movie. Just predictable and has some holes.
