Kankerlijers (2014)
the definition of "Mid"
"Sickos", falls squarely into the realm of mediocrity. This movie defines the term "mid".
The plot, feels recycled and fails to truely achieve what really could be done with such an idea, While what is done does manage to keep the audience engaged, it lacks the originality needed to leave a lasting impression. Cinematography and editing are competent but fail to bring a distinct visual style or flair to the production. The soundtrack, while serviceable, lacks the memorable tunes that can enhance the overall viewing experience, no music in the movie i go back to in my day-to-day life for enjoyment or thrill. Tho The movie manages to maintain a steady pace, preventing it from becoming outright boring and Additionally, a few moments of humor and a handful of well-executed scenes prevent it from being a complete disappointment. Doing just that the bare minimum to not have wasted someone's time with your movie is just that the bare minimum.
In conclusion, "Sickos" is a mid-tier film that falls victim to simular movies tropes and Character archetypes , While it may provide a passable viewing experience, it fails to distinguish itself in a sea of Streaming media.
A Fox in Space: Fixing a Hole (2023)
AMAZING... but with one plot hole
This show is amazing, it is everything one would want from a Star Fox TV show and provides the audience with excellent visuals and audio and action, any and everything you could want from a show like this it's here! Its remarkable that most of this show is done by one man, Matthew Gafford. I love these kinds of shows but the one thing that keeps it from a 10/10 is a small plot hole, and here it is. In Ep 1 fox says to wolf in a bar, "Wolf, you know, I'm aware there's been this whole rivalry thing between us since we were in Academy. I get it. Really. But... I never would've thought you'd help... orchestrate something like this." and wolf responds with "You screwed me and my friends out of a lot of money, kiddo. You can't say you didn't have this coming." that lets us know that fox and wolf were in the Academy at the same time even though wolf is older than fox. As this is confirmed in EP 2 as we see a young fox and a not as old wolf, but in the same episode we get 2 scenes that make this plot hole. The first when wolf his gf Fara, and fox are in the car together. " Oh, hey Fara, guess what? FARA: What? WOLF: Oh boy, here it comes, for the fifth damn time... I got in the CFA." then a bit later wolf now on the "base" is asked how is his eye and he responds with "gone forever, didn't even leave a note" so now we know why he got discharged, right after this we get this interaction with a guy called bill. " bill: Oh. What the hell are you doin' here?" Wolf- "Hey, now, nobody said I couldn't come visit!" Bill- "CHEWING You better give your head a shake there, bud. You've been told pert near a hundred times since you got discharged." Wolf- "I'm sorry. I thought I heard you say something vaguely decipherable, but I'm not sure..." bill- "Says right there on the wall: "Only qualified pilots allowed on the premises." wof- "Heheh! Qualified? Oh, let's hear it, Bill! What do these otherwise lovely ladies bring to the table that I don't?" Bill-"How about depth perception? "
this confirms that wolf Got discharged either because or related to the loss of his eye because of now a lack of depth perception. After this wolf fly's off and leaves fox and Fara behind, so if they were in the Academy. At the same time how can that be when we see the events of EP 2 that take place 10 years before EP 1 when this is said. Although a plot hole like this does not impact the story all too much and isn't really relevant it does detract from my personal enjoyment of the show making me drop it by one star
9/10, would watch again and will Glady wait the 6 years for EP 3 if I must.
Logan Paul Vs (2016)
its ight
If he made a show like this now it would be much better , the Logan you see in this show is more like the Logan you see in his vlogs in 2017 , but overall its entertaining to watch and keeps you invested in the show . you could watch this show maybe twice over but after that you wouldn't be able to stand it anymore
