Cleopatra's Palace (1998)
Cleopatra and Kassandra Marr
I have previously seen Kassandra in Il Guardino and now actually saw her in Cleopatra (showing during one of my trips to Europe on the plane!), this time there was no Italian dialogue just movement and a face. Did I ever imagine Kassandra as Cleopatra.... well who wouldn't especially after seeing her in Ricky Nelson as Cleopatra (yes .... again). GREAT.... GREAT.... loved it and I am so looking forward to see her again in some bigger parts. I actually had the chance to meet her personally at "Il Guardino" Premiere and she was so genuine and a true beauty, no harsh attitude, no prima dona just Kassandra Marr. I hope she stays that way and will be following closely her future endeavors as, I believe she is a star in the makings. A great STAR.
Il guardino (1999)
Kassandra Marr is a perfect Ava Gardner
Now this is a short which I happened to come across at a friend's house whom is a producer in US and I was mesmerized by her presence. The movie did bore me until she appeared in the window and no kidding - the hair on my arms stood up, Kassandra is what one could call the Femme Fatale and mesmerizing true beauty of the 50's and 60's, such as Ava Gardner and Sophia Loren, whom were true actresses with a charisma and powerful presence. I believe that she is way above any Salma Hayek, Catherine Zeta Jones and Penelope Cruz as the strength she exhumed during those few minutes put all of these actresses to shame. Those eyes and face just got me glued to the television. Given the chance, she will go very far.
Detroit Rock City (1999)
Detroit Rock City - Kassandra as the groupie
Now.... I have seen Kassandra s a brunette in most of the roles she played but this one actually was something else. I did not recognize her right away until I actually saw the credits and then realized that the gorgeous blonde has indeed Kassandra Marr. Great scene even if dialogue was not there. I actually got to see her as another blond playing in "The Mictchell Brother's" - X-Rated, with Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez and she rocked, a gorgeous modern Marilyn Monroe with an attitude. She has been such a controversial actress over the year with so little attention to her parts and works, I believe she is one of kind actress.
