Tom and Jerry (2021)
My favorite Mediocre Movie
Alright, it's definitely not the best movie of all time. There's a lot of issues with the film, like the pacing, some of the characters are a little bland, the plot is just alright, and the humans get a bit much in the screentime department. By most critics standards, it would just be a mediocre experience at best. At its worst, well... it's a Cinematic Disaster.
And yet, despite its mediocrity, I was completely enamored with the film and had a blast with it. I found myself totally in awe of the insanity of the lobby destruction and wedding crashing scenes. And the soundtrack was pretty solid as well.
It's not great, and yet I had a great time with it. If you're in the mood for a mediocre movie, well here's my top pick. Since I had so much fun with it, I just don't have the heart to give it anything lower than a 7/10.
Sonikku adobenchâ 2 (2001)
A Massive Downgrade.
The first Sonic Adventure was one of, if not the best Sonic games ever. But this, this is just... bad. There's no hubworlds other than the Chao Garden, the plot is confusing and boring, the voice acting is awful, and most of all: the treasure and mech stages are tedious and slow. They eat up most of the game across both Hero and Dark Story and, in terms of gameplay, are completely overshadowed by the Speed stages, which are 10 times more fun. If the game were all Speed stages, I'd instantly raise it to maybe a 6/10. But as is, this game is such a slog to get through, and ESPECIALLY to 100% complete.
