The Wonderful: Stories from the Space Station (2021)
One of the best documentaries I've ever seen. Space and Art come together.
I feel like this documentary only has two type of viewers. You either get what the filmmakers were trying to do with it or you thought it was boring. The raw emotion of these interviews, especially the longer ones with personal details of past experiences, is borderline gripping. Listening to somebody talk about watching their loved one leave the planet for the first time is intense. The art of the music, flashback scenes, and old footage really make this film what it is.
Pretty much a must see for everyone.
Rugrats (2021)
Once you get used to the animation style the show is a complete hit.
It's exactly the same as the first rugrats. The only difference is the babies/parents are "modernized" for the 2000's. The animation style DOES take an episode or two to get used to but once you do it's like it's not even there anymore. The script is that spot on humor wise, nostalgic for the heart, and is fun for adults AND children. Please watch it and don't listen to all the negative reviews!
Bigfoot Family (2020)
This is not "political propaganda". It's science and facts.
I'm amazed by how many people are whining over the message that drives this movie/that they don't want their children watching it. Global warming and loss of animal life/land is not a political subject, it's something that's happening around us everyday. It has nothing to do with politics actually. Could they have portrayed the oil scenes more accurately and what the process involves? Yes, I agree with that. But it kind of doesn't matter. Oli/gas companies are still killing the planet and people we love. Why would anyone not want their children to watch a movie about being kind, respectful to our planet, and even has the encouraging main message of one person can make a difference. Besides that the graphics are amazing, the story has heart, and the message is so important to us as humans.
