Man, this was good! Suspense, surprises, action, and coolness are just a few words to describe this trip away from everyday concerns.

Don't compare this to the cheesy movies from the 80's, although there are a couple of funny characters for good measure, the leads are modern, interesting and sharp. Adrien Brody isn't trying to fill Arnie's shoes, he stands on his own.

If you like beautiful, yet unforgiving scenery, loads of action, and fast paced drama, this is the movie for you.

This movie meshes sci-fi, action, terror this has it all. You feel like you are there trying to fight the impossible, sympathize with the characters and feel energized with adrenaline but spent at the same time.

I am speaking for myself & my little boy. This movie was entertaining. Lots of action, and vivid imagery.

Was I expecting Academy award winning performances? No.

I appreciated the fluid movements of the actors when they were doing the bending.

The scenery was pretty amazing. Visually interesting, amazing sets. Like going on an exotic vacation.

Costumes, were pretty cool too. I didn't see the 3D version because 3D bugs my eyes.

Nice escape from everyday life, a good outlet, we need more fantasy, less realism/stress.

I am anxious to see a part 2.

knew this was going to be really bad but went anyway. waste of money. waste of time. frivolous. silly. time to move on. struggling to write 10 lines, wow. i blame big block busters like transformers, GI Joe etc for this big piece of dog do.

the original was cheesy but at least they had an excuse, things were not advanced yet. this was just flashy cheesy, nothing good.

i think this was just a production company trying to capitalize on the hype. more & more movie goers are going to demand something of substance, something different.

even my 7 year thought it was bad... what next, a whole bunch of mindless, late teen vampire movies?

This movie was funny, entertaining and quirky. So glad I went to see it at the theater. Too many awesome one-liners to list. You know a flick is cool when afterward you walk around making references from it.

It was a ironic feel good movie too. I only recommend this to people with a twisted sense of humor. If you think that Kate Hudson movies are funny this isn't the movie for you.

This was raw, and edgy, without being gratuitous either. Those who frequent the main stream funnies just won't like this.

Woody is awesome, he looks quite hot actually. Not your typical "Hollywood" hottie, but DAYAM he looked good.

Don't let this "kid's movie" fool you. This movie is actually very entertaining for adults as well. Having a young child I do dread many movies my son wants to see (Bee Movie, 10,000 B.C.), and too many more to come I am sure...

This movie is extra special, it held both of our attention. It isn't just a race movie, but a movie about chasing your dreams and being true to yourself. A movie about doing the right thing, and not selling out. Many may be turned off by the sentiment of going against the grain, and flipping the bird to corporate America so I think this is why the general public were turned off by this.

I am not a person to go along with the general public, and am raising my son to be the same way! Vive la revolution.

This movie is worth way more than the admission to see it. I would have gladly paid more, it was that good! Anymore, I leave the theater feeling robbed of my hard earned money. There are so many dogs made now that aren't worth my time or admission. Lately I had been feeling like movie execs are trying to trick me into liking their over the top fluff, distracting me with their overpaid stars, special effects & the media blitz to promote these awful flick...that aren't worth the film they are made with.

I can't call this a movie, it is visual ART at it's finest. This is the kind of writing I miss in a story. The dialogue was so deep, my quote book is going to get loaded with the lines from it. The characters are interesting, it is funny, and shocking too.

The ending is poetic, and is the kind of resolution you'd end up with for a story like this, it needs to be understood for what it is. It isn't the contrived answer to all of what is wrong or what is expected to give finality for the sake of finality.

The conventional movie goer would probably not appreciate this film as much as I did, more to be enjoyed by the non-conformist spirit.

By far the worst children's movie I have ever had to experience. I knew it was going to be bad, but I was out voted 6 to 2 (mostly kids in our group).

The jokes, if that is what you want to call them were predictable and I couldn't bring myself to feign a fake smile.

The story was awful, a lazy bee striving for idleness. Great message for the kids, why work when you can be a bum?

We all ended up very disappointed. The concessions were the only consolation, at least we ended up with refreshments.

Not even worth renting. BAAAAAD!

This movie provided a once in a lifetime opportunity an insider view of a primary school in China. Better yet, you see what happens when a culture deprived of democracy, and on top of that when children are given the liberty to make a democratic decision! It was such a joy to see how these children interacted with each other & how the families were involved in their campaign. I wish we could show our youth the importance of what is so widely taken for granted in our own country. The spirit of competition was over the top, it was a thrill to see the drive and determination of these youngsters! Enjoy, throughly entertaining!

This movie is very different than what I expected.

The acting was incredible, as usual Rachel Weisz is hauntingly beautiful, on the most expressive faces in the industry. Hugh Jackman has really come full circle. He needs to be in more movies period and not dressed as a wolf man. The depth of his range is vast, and he captivates the most powerful of emotions, fear, love, weakness, strength, heartache...

The dreamscapes are do vivid, colorful yet surreal enough to distinguish between the reality and imagined states.

The themes of mortality, frailty, humility, are inherent to all of us. Completely underrated, extraordinary!!!

Beyond entertaining! Still dark and disturbing at the same time, so many emotions have been provoked by this treat of a movie. It was a pleasure to reminisce what a disco era movie had to offer, with more appreciation for it after the fact.

Eye candy overload! So many hot women, hot situations, hot cars. Adrenaline and fear is still a turn on!

They mastered a blend of old and new. The car chase was beefy, the heavy sounds of the muscle car, the jerky bouncy movement was a blaring contrast to the modern day wimpy, light vehicles they bullied off the road.

Sexy without stooping to the level of a blatant skin-flick porno. I liked being exposed to an array of fetishes. Things I didn't even think of being erotic, stirred feelings unfamiliar to me.

Both features were equally brilliant in their own way, so much so that they didn't compete for my attention.

I can go on and on all day long. Not for the meek, mainstream, or literal!

For those who think outside the box, and appreciate beauty in a non-conformist manner.

3 WORDS: GO SEE IT!!!

The most amazing movie of 07. You feel the momentum, the adrenaline rush and are taken away from your physical plane. Let go of any expectations and prejudices, be prepared to be thoroughly entertained.

This is how a 3 dimensional, moving comic should be personified. Beautiful, black, white & red imagery as well.

The music rocked the fight scenes too! Costumes and makeup enhance the characters, making them larger than life.

You will hear gasps and cheers from your fellow movie watchers. I am already planning on going again. Seeing this on DVD at home won't do it justice.
