A Surprisingly Good Revival of the Series
15 August 2021
This film was better than it had any right to be. Usually, horror revivals/remakes don't go too well, but this was actually a good slasher flick. I really like how this movie incorporated new technology into this film and the new characters, which are actually pretty good (especially Kirby and Jill). I guess if I had a complaint about this movie it'd be the weird, greasy filter they slapped over it and that none of the characters of the original trilogy were killed. Both Sidney and Gale were attacked and they both survived, while Dewey didn't really have anything to do with this entire movie. That fakeout ending was amazing, though, and on my first watch, I genuinely thought that Sidney was dead. Overall, this was a great continuation of the franchise, which was way better than I thought it'd be.

The Best of the Franchise So Far
8 August 2021
The first half of this movie was especially amazing. Just following John Wick for an hour while he's fighting off would-be assassins from left and right, was so entertaining. Especially the throwing knives fight scene, which is my favorite in the entire franchise. After that, it slows down a bit but by the end, I knew this would be my favorite of the three movies.

Even Better Than the Original
8 August 2021
For a while, I thought this movie could not be topped (even though it eventually was), because it was just like the other movie, except everything was grander, the fight scenes were better and longer, and the casting was even greater. I'm honestly surprised they were able to pull a movie like this off. Overall, this is one of the best action movies I've ever watched, which (like the first one) I rewatched commonly.

An Entertaining Action Film
8 August 2021
This was just a taste of what was to come in the John Wick franchise. I really like this movie because compared to the two sequels this one is really grounded and has a lot less going on. Even though this film may not be as eventful as the others, it is still a really good movie, and an entertaining one, which can never hurt. Though, I do think it was the weakest one, which isn't anything to be ashamed of considering the two sequels are some of the best action movies of the 2010s. Overall, this is a good movie that I rewatch a lot.

One of the Best Rocky Movies
8 August 2021
This was the perfect ending to the Rocky franchise and to Rocky as a character. And while I have enjoyed the Creed films so far, part of me wishes they left this franchise alone, as this was the perfect ending possible. This movie is just everything I love about this franchise. It had a fantastic score, great performances by the main cast (especially Sylvester Stallone's performance which deserved an Oscar nomination at the very least), and the end fight scenes were great. Don't even get me started on Rocky's legendary speech to Robert. Overall, this is a great movie that I rewatch regularly.

A Terrible Movie
8 August 2021
This film is utter trash. It is borderline disrespectful to the Rocky franchise and I don't understand how anyone could have thought this movie was a good idea. I am so happy that this wasn't the ending to the Rocky character, as it would have been one of the worst franchise endings ever! Honestly, I don't think it was too bad until Rocky starts to train Tommy Gunn, but after that it sucks. Even the end fight, which is usually one of the best things about these movies, was the worst fight scene in this franchise (including Rocky's dumb fight with Thunderlips). Overall, even Rocky (my favorite movie character ever) couldn't save this crappy movie.

A Guilty Pleasure of Mine
8 August 2021
Admittedly, this film is stupid and makes absolutely no sense, whatsoever, but I still find myself enjoying it on every watch. This is the Rocky franchise at its most insane and I love it. But even though this film is really dumb it still has some great moments. There are several training montages, that fight between Apollo and Ivan Drago, and the ending fight between Rocky and Drago. Overall, this is not a very good movie but it is one that I really enjoy.

A Frustrating, but Watchable Film
8 August 2021
I seem to dislike this film more and more every single time I watch it. I think that's because of Rocky as a character. In this movie he acts so out of character; in the first two films Rocky's this normal, nice guy who isn't the brightest but has the heart to make it in the boxing business, but in this movie, he's much smarter than the Rocky character was before. And I've heard some people say that money turned him this way, which is I guess a good enough explanation because he was only like this in this film and Rocky IV. That aside, the fighting in this movie was improved, the cast was still great, and the score was still fantastic.

A Worthy Sequel On-Par With the Original
8 August 2021
This may be a hot take, but in my opinion, this movie is on par with the first one and even improves upon it in some ways. For one example, the training montage and the fight itself are better than in the first, but for a reason I can't quite put my finger on, I just like the original movie more. Not to take anything away from this one, because it is still a great movie and I think it's the second best film in the Rocky Franchise (even including the Creed films).

Simply A Classic
8 August 2021
This is one of my favorite sports movies of all time and it is my favorite Sylvester Stallone movie he's ever made. Mostly because it has such a great underdog story, even better performances by the cast, and a legendary score. Another reason I love this film is because of Rocky Balboa, himself, who's one of my favorite movie characters ever. Overall, there's a reason this is one of the most celebrated boxing movies of all time.

A Good Series, Ruined by a Terrible Finale
25 July 2021
This may be a hot take, but I think TFATWS was a pretty good miniseries up until the finale, which is terrible! I just think the last episode had so much potential, and it just makes me think of disappointment whenever I thought about this series. After my first watch, I thought I was just overreacting, but I hated the finale even more on my second rewatch of the show. Overall, this series is pretty good but the ending really leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Easily the Best MCU Disney+ Series to Date
14 July 2021
This miniseries is the best MCU Disney+ series so far, and it's not even close. Although it isn't perfect, it's flaws are a lot less in-your-face than those of 'WandaVision' and 'Falcon and the Winter Soldier.' I just love it because it feels like the most genuine chapter of phase four so far. Even though it's concept revolves around time travel, this feels realistic and authentic, which always helps. And the humor doesn't feel as forced as many other Marvel projects. And it is perfectly casted, especially Owen Wilson as Mobius, which is something I never knew I wanted. Overall, this is a terrific series and it absolutely deserves all the praise it gets.

Another Great Show from Micheal Schur
1 July 2021
I don't love this show like many people out there. Perhaps it's because my bar for this show was through the roof, since I love Michael Schur's other shows. And, obviously, since my bar was crazy high, there was no way this show could live up to it. I just think think this show is too much. The acting is way over-the-top in my opinion, and the jokes just aren't as funny as I expected from the cast and Michael Schur. Overall, this show was fantastic and I think I would have enjoyed it immeasurably more than I did if my expectations were realistic.

Somehow Lived Up to Limitless Expectations
9 June 2021
This movie is probably my favorite finale to a franchsie of all-time. This film has very few flaws and even improves upon the book in my opinion. I actually think it was as perfect as it could have been, especially considering the expectations for this movie. There's really nothing more to say except that this was the perfect sendoff, and I hope they don't screw up the entire franchise with the Fantastic Beast movies (unlikely after that horrific second film).

One of My Favorites
9 June 2021
This film is very underrated in my opinion. Many people online see this movie as the set-up for part two, but it is also so much more than that. I just don't think this movie should be remembered as "the time they just wanted more money," because in my opinion this movie is fantastic from start to finish. We literally start off with one of the best action scenes in this entire series, and end it with one of the saddest deaths. Overall, this movie is designed to hype everyone up for part two, but also succeeds as a great movie by itself.

An Underwhelming Film Saved by Great Ending
9 June 2021
This movie is incredibly disappointing, especially when considering it's source material. Half-Blood Prince was one of my favorite books in the entire Harry Potter series. But this film is nothing like the book it came from. This movie felt bland and felt like something big was missing. About halfway through I knew this movie would be my lowest rated in the entire franchise, but then the ending happened. The ending of this film is easily the best of the entire series, and I think it's even superior to the graveyard scene from Goblet of Fire. Overall, this was an unbelievably disappointing film that was saved by a perfect ending.

A Great Transition From Book to Film!
8 June 2021
Whenever I watched this movie for the first time years ago, I was very skeptical as to how this movie would play out, considering they are cramming an 800 page book into less than two-and-a-half hours. Nevertheless, somehow, someway, they managed to succeed in what they were doing, and made (in my opinion) the best film in the series yet. I like better than the previous four films because the stakes were a lot higher and it just felt grander and everything that happened felt like it happened for a reason. I really just think that everything was improved since the last film. Overall, they somehow managed to make an enjoyable film out of an 800 page book, without having a massive runtime of like three hours.

Saved by the Near-Perfect Ending
7 June 2021
By the standards of the first three movies, this film was definitely a let down, that I somewhat disliked until that ending. This movie was just really weird for the first two hours, and it felt like the main trio were missing something. For one part of the movie, Ron was angry at Harry, and then for another part Hermione is mad at Ron. This movie just felt off...but the ending did restore the image of the movie in my opinion, because it sets up the remaining movies so well. Overall, this is a serviceable film altough a disappointing one.

Better Than the First Two in Nearly Every Way
7 June 2021
This film improves on the previous two in nearly every single way. It looks a lot better, whether we're talking about the special effects or hogwarts. Speaking of the way this film looks, it is one of the best looking Harry Potter films. In my opinion, even the music got better! Overall, this was a great adaptation of the equally enjoyable book that made me very excited to watch Goblet of Fire.

One of the More Underrated Harry Potter Films
7 June 2021
I don't understand why this film barely gets any love from Harry Potter fans. I know it's near three-hour runtime can tire some people out, but it my opinion it never got boring, and there was always something interesting going on. I even consider it a better film than the first, altough I'm sure that's a pretty hot take. Overall, this is a very good sequel, although I understand why people don't love it as much as I do.

Stands the Test of Time 20 Years Later!
7 June 2021
I am willing to aware that this film isn't perfect by any means. Whether it's the off-putting early-2000s CGI or the corny lines prevalent throughout the movie, this movie still has a lot going for it. The casting of this movie is unmatchable and this movie inarguably single-handedly started an entire franchise of billion dollar movies. If this movie would have failed, Harry Potter would have been just another movie studio trying (and failing) to start a successful movie franchise. Harry Potter easily could have ended up like Percy Jackson, Eragon, or The Dark Tower. Overall, this movie is a perfect example of how to successfully adapt a book to a film.

Definitely One of the Most Underrated Sitcoms of All-Time
6 June 2021
I am so surprised this show isn't talked about more on the internet. I understand the show has a small audience, but this show is a amazing! While it definitely starts to slow down after season 12 or so, this show is still running strong after it's 14th season. I am honestly amazed this show is still pumping out good episodes, despite it's longevity. I can't wait for season 15, I hope it's great, and I hope this show gets more recognition.

Wish There Were More Seasons!
30 May 2021
I finally discovered this show nearly 22 years after it's premiere date and it has became one of my favorite 2000s shows ever! I am so sad it ended after just one season because I'm sure I would have loved it more if it got season two and beyond. I really love nearly everything about it. The acting is fantastic, the casting is impeccable, and the soundtrack is possibly my favorite of any television show ever! Overall, I really love this show and I am very sad it was cancelled after just one season.

A Great Start to Phase Four
23 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I think that after episode three this show is amazing. The characters and characterization improve immensely, the plot moves along a lot faster, and this show just kept getting better and better. And I know that some people were disappointed by the finale, and I understand why they felt that way towards the finale, but I really enjoyed it, and I thought it wrapped up the story very nice. I also rewatched this show after watching Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and noticed two similarities between those shows; pretty low-rated series finales. And I think the reason why these finales aren't that highly rated is because they're not series finales that most shows are, since all the characters we see are going to appear in other movies. Overall, I just really enjoy this show, it has great characters, a pretty good villain in Agatha Harkness, and was a great start to the MCU's phase four.

EDIT: The Ralph Bohner storyline was very disappointing and I was very annoyed they used his character just to make a boner joke...

People Are Being Very Harsh
23 April 2021
While I understand those who are disappointed by this show, and I was too after the first episode, I think this show gets way too much hate. Other than that first episode, where Bucky and Sam don't even meet up, I at like every single episode after that point. Especially episode two, four, and six, which are the episodes I think are the best. Honestly, I just don't understand why this show isn't that well-recieved by Marvel fans. Overall, I enjoy this show very much, and I think it is extremely underappreciated.
