We Go in at Dawn (2020)
Why did they make this movie?
I watched this movie across last night and this morning, and it was supposedly about 85 minutes via "on-demand" and I guess I should be thankful that it was shown mostly without commercials, or else I would have lost another 35 minutes of my life. I usually watch movies and read reviews during or afterwards, but I don't write reviews. This is my second, and both were bc the movies were a waste of my time. While I understand the idea of the movie, it just doesn't make sense, especially when the captured guy doesn't want to leave SMH. They're in France, but HQ couldn't be bothered to send in someone who spoke French? I think this movie was made more for a tax write-off than any artistical purpose. I liked Resistance member Audrey L'Ebrellec, and hope this doesn't hurt her, although according to IMDB, she has appeared in 14 so far, so I would think she needed the work. I knew no one in the cast, which I don't mind, but the entire movie just doesn't make sense, and the German "prison" was too easy to enter and move around. I usually watch movies more than once, and pick up a lot in subsequent viewings, but this one is definitely worthy of my time beyond what was spent watching it, and writing this!

Both thumbs down!
I never wrote a review on IMDB before, but then, I've never watched a Hallmark channel movie that I spent more time on my computer looking at baseball scores, than time watching the movie. I liked Dylan Bruce in "A Novel Romance" and "The Christmas Promise" and Mallory Jansen in "On The 12th Date of Christmas" but if they make this movie into a series, I'll find something else to watch. I read on other comments, that Mystery 101 is cancelled, and possibly Aurora Teagarden too. If that's the case, there are lots of other channels for me to watch, including some without commercials, because I have never lost interest in a Hallmark movie as easily as I did on this one!
