Roller Coaster of an emotional Journey
I almost knew nothing going into this movie. Didn't even watch the trailer just read a little about the synopsis and damn was I surprised. This movie was a helluva roller coaster of emotions!
This movie is mostly set in 2013 and tells the harrowing story of an orphaned older brother and sister trying to find their way and survive in the bustling cut throat concrete jungle of Shenzhen... One of China's busiest cities.
Not going to lie was not expecting the emotional punch or journey this movie took me thru. I actually cried a couple times and the less I say about that the better. One thing I WILL say tho is this movie had a TON of heart.
The love btwn the characters absolutely shines thru. Some of the situations may seem hard to believe but I've been to China multiple times and know they are ALL very plausible. Def an under appreciated gem and I hope it gets more buzz at is a movie worth watching 🙏

Epic Story and Charming Characters
This story is about hope, optimism and trust.
It's very layered and has positive message... Those disparaging it generally have a negative, cynical view of the world and completely missed the point of the movie. It has been one of the Strongest Disney movies in years in my humble opinion.
The only thing I am sad about is we will never know how much money this would have made at the Box Office during "normal times"
I bought it after I had seen it a relatives house specifically to be able to show it to MORE people when they visited me.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier: One World, One People (2021)
Wow Marvel... Just Wow
Marvel is hitting it out of the Park! I felt WandaVision was a different take on the SuperHero Genre as they dived deep into the psyche and traumas of Wanda and didn't think they could follow it up with anything remotely close. However, I tip my Hat to Feige and crew for truly putting something special together with Falcon and Winter Soldier. The action scenes were amazing Big Budget movie worthy yet the complicated layered themes touched upon were ambitious and heart wrenching. I am not Black so I won't even begin to try and assume the impact this will have on my Black American Brothers and Sisters but it truly has elevated and reframed many of the issues we are dealing with in the Real World... Today.
Marvel maybe one of the few things left in the country/world uniting those across all ages, politics and demographics.
