Definitely in my top 10 mysteries
18 January 2003
I am a fan of mystery movies, and this is one of my all time favorites. I love the plot twists and the eerie atmosphere. I remember when I first saw this film, many years ago, how astonished I was when the villains are murdered one by one. My only complaint with the film is the phony arrest and jail break of Jack Packard. This was silly and unnecessary. Jack Packard should have been able to nail the killer without these shenanigans. This being said, I recommend this film, especially if you like mysteries and are looking for something different. Jack Packard, played by Jim Bannon, is an excellent screen detective, and Doc Long, played by Barton Yarborough, is a likeable sidekick who provides some comic relief, and best of all is Jefferson Monk played by George Macready.

Rush It (1978)
9/10
One of my favorite little movies
4 November 2002
This is a nice, sweet movie about a young girl trying to make it on her own in New York city. The girl is played by Judith Kahan and she's very good. She gets mixed up with the wrong guy played by Tom Berenger. However she has this very nice friend played by one of my favorite actors, John Heard. Eventually you know she and John Heard will eventually hook up. Rush It reminds me of another fine film, Ruby in Paradise. One thing I especially liked about the movie is the music. It's a shame that this very likeable movie is mostly unknown and forgotten.

This is a funny movie
4 September 2001
I was very happy to be able to buy this movie and watch it last weekend. I last saw this movie over 30 years ago. I remember it being good, and I was not disapponted. It has a fairly good mystery, but what makes this movie special is that it's very funny. It has several scenes which I think are classic. The line up scene is hilarious. Byron Foulger gives a great comedic performance.

Red Desert (1949)
One of my favorite movies
28 August 2001
I saw this movie many years ago, I guess in the early 50's. It was one of my favorites. I remember it being very atmospheric, especially the chase in the desert. It also had a great ending, a real surprise. I would love to see it again.
