Daddy Driver?
This movie commits the ultimate sins, at least in my book... utter predictability and lack of originality. They even ripped off several dino shots originated in Jurassic Park.
Not even Adam Driver could save this mess though I did enjoy the Kylo Ren-type bouts of angst yelling.
In the end, the dinos met their fate via the planet killer meteor as the hero and initially helpless but suddenly plucky woman-child sailed to safety in the nick of time. Roll credits. And yes, the minute there was mention of meteors, you just knew the Earth was the target.
Maybe Adam was hoping to jump on the "Daddy" train with this script. I love you dude but this is too little too late. Pedro Pascal owns that now.
Edie (2017)
Beautiful cinematography, awful script
The story started out intriguing then quickly became way too obvious, uninspired and downright ridiculous at times. Really hoped Edie would be the kind of inspiring story rarely told about older women. Instead, she had to be rescued TWICE by two different men. The hokey "triumphant" ending was cringe-worthy.
