The Last Dance (2020)
Easily the best documentary I've seen on Netflix
When I stumbled across this documentary on Netflix - I thought it would be fun to watch something about NBA. But after I watched it whole in one go, I started searching for more documentaries, but couldn't find anything that could come close to this.
History, many points of view, perfectly timed bridges from previous seasons to last dance season, that helped to bring atmosphere to another level, to show the tension and the passion that every team had.
Overall, I wanted to watch Michael Jordan's story, but instead I fell in love with team as a whole.
Anne Boleyn (2021)
History isn't rewritten - it wasn't even being read
For this review to not content spoilers - I can just say that if it wasn't about certain historic person but completely fictional series it still would be very boring show, but would be somewhere around 4-5. But if you want to connect your work to some history - either do it good, or do not mention it at all.
And while black actress on role of historically white woman is a small issue(which is for me the same issue as white actor/actress on black/asian role), the main issue for me is weak plot, which could be done a lot better.
