In the Heights (2021)
Not "West Side Story" but close.
At the start I saw many "West Side Story" similarities, especially the filming locations and music themes.
I must admit it was far better than I thought, definitely better than "Hamilton"
The Curse of Halloween Jack (2019)
Far from the worst.
As 'soon as I saw this was a British production I was ready to turn it off, we are notoriously bad at the horror genre, however I decided to give it a bit of time and see what happened.
I was actually quite surprised. Yes there is dodgy acting, awful costume for 'Jack' and predictable storyline, but it was generally well made and fun.
To be honest I've seen far worse in Dr Who and that gets a worldwide following.
Enjoy a bit of tongue in cheek fun and watch/listen for the references to John Carpenters "Halloween".
School of the Damned (2019)
A school drama and film club could do better.
I've subjected myself to some pretty awful movies in the past, but this really is the pits.
The script was reportedly finished in 2 weeks and the actual filming in 8 days, during school term so as to use students as extras.
It shows in being so poorly made.
I'm positive the pupils could of done better themselves.
Grace (2014)
Good POV work.
While there was none of the gore, nudity etc normally associated with horror it was still well done.
The POV work was some of the best I've seen for a while.
Sweet Girl (2021)
Not the worst.
A bit slow and predictable in places, but generally a decent film.
Doors (2021)
Worst I've ever seen!
This film is so bad even SyFy channel would be embarrassed to put it on.
